Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing, all was excellent.
This was our second visit as we really enjoyed our previous stay. The house is very well equipped and is set up very well for guests. The host is easy to contact and responds quickly to any queries. Parking is on the street but permits are not required. We have been able to park outside the house on both our visits. The house is close to the Totterdown shops if you need supplies and is a short walk to the Bristol dockside. The Banana footbridge is now open which is a bonus walking to the city centre.

United KingdomThe twin bedroom is only big enough for children, and our party was 3 adults so a bit cramped. Also it's a 25 minute walk into the city, previous reviews suggest it's closer. Personally I didn't mind the walk but my companions did. However, there's a Tesco Express about 4 mins away, a canteen and a few pubs. I recommend the Oxford pub.
The house was beautiful and clean. Lovely main bedroom and bathroom both had plenty of room. Loved the Kitchen diner which also had plenty of room, with a separate lounge and downstairs toilet.

New ZealandAwesome accommodation! The place was very comfortable with great rooms, a beautiful bathroom, and a really-well kitted out kitchen. We stayed here for work nearby and it was fantastic. Also has a great pub and cafe within a stone's throw. Highly recommend.

United KingdomIt was perfect! We were worried about parking on a busy road but found there was ample space available.
Location - both immediate (loads of shops and pubs on the doorstep) and into Bristol city (comfortable walk), train station etc.

SwedenNothing!
Felt very homely from the moment we stepped through the door. Lovely interiors and great facilities, could really feel this is someone's home, as opposed to a generic flat/ house only for rent but no soul, this house had plenty of warmth and life. Quiet, only heard neighbours a little, very friendly contact with manager of property and cot for 20 month old was in great condition. Very comfortable stay, in a great area! We will very likely be back!

Hong KongIt’s a bit far from the nearest station, though said within walking distance, with heavy luggage suitcases climbing slopes to the property is really difficult. Take taxi or uber.
Well equipped kitchen and there’re a lot of utensils. Rooms are spacious and master bathroom is exceptionally good.

United KingdomMy only criticism, which isn't anything much.. It would have been nice to have the second double bedroom available. I understand why this was locked, as we booked for two people, but I would have preferred the second double bed to the two single beds or given the option.
Very clean, well equipped house. Great place to spend time with your family or some friends. The Kitchen is fantastic and well set up, the living areas and bedrooms are comfortable, clean and have plenty of space. The bathroom is spectacular! I really liked the homely touch, there was no need to buy tea, coffee, sugar or oil, all these things and more were provided.

United KingdomThere was nothing wrong with the property, but the parking and local roads were a bit hairy. Luckily we could walk into town and used the buses and trains for what we wanted to do.
The house was beautiful. We immediately felt at home. It was really well equipped and spacious.

United KingdomNothing, one of the nicest places we have stayed in Bristol.
The house was well equipped and very clean. Very easy to make ourselves at home and the host was communicative and helpful. Nice and roomy accommodation situated in a pleasant and quiet area. Totterdown has a lot of shops in the area and it is easy to walk around but be prepared for the hills! These hills give you some good views of the city. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the harbour in the centre of the city. Free on street parking is available in this area but is on a first come first served basis. We were able to park right outside the house.

United KingdomThe road is busy with terraced house parking (not their fault). So it is fun trying to parallel park on a hill if not used to it! Not many spaces are nearby.
A very nice comfortable house. Great location for access to the centre of Bristol. The house was nicely kitted out with all that you would need. Good WiFi and good access to TV channels/apps. We loved chilling out in the kitchen area on the sofa. The underfloor heating helped and made it nice and cosy in there. Lovely and quiet when inside and no road or other noises. On the whole, it's a great place to stay.
