The apartment should consider having a dishwasher. The stairs up to the apartment are steep and narrow, making them very difficult to navigate with cases or for older people. The windows needed cleaning. Directions on how to use the TV and other appliances (cleaning the dryer) would be helpful, as would some indication that there are very close neighbours. It would help to know if a cleaning service was available for more extended stays

I liked the location. The apartment was comfortable, and Joanne was an incredible host who made me feel welcome and left goodies for me upon my arrival. The apartment was clean and welcoming. Joanne went out of her way to make it easy to find the apartment, etc., very close to restaurants and coffee shops.

There is quite a few steps and they are slippy when it rains so a bit dangerous in the dark (But it can't be helped in the winter months!)

Location was amazing, not far from town but also not too close! The host made me feel very welcome and because it was a longer period so she had arranged for someone to come and clean each week when I was at work which made the stay extra-amazing! The welcome gifts were a sweet touch and handy that I had the host's whatapp incase of any issues she was easy to contact (Not that I had any issues!) A wonderful stay-away from home!

The only problem for me was the flight of concrete steps up to the apartment. As an elderly person on my own I did struggle getting my case up.

Spacious and very clean. Well equipped and nice to have a bath. Wine and nibbles was a kind touch.

Difficult to change but to be aware of: a narrow path to the side door, about 20 steep external steps to the door and inside the small entrance lobby also a door to another apartment. None of that was an issue for us. We felt quite safe and heard nothing from the other occupants.

Plenty of friendly communication before our stay which was helpful/useful. The apartment is spacious, light, bright, modern, beautifully decorated and furnished, immaculately clean. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to prepare meals, do washing/drying of clothes. The milk/tea/coffee/biscuits etc were appreciated to be able to make a drink on arrival. Large sitting/dining room, comfortable sofa, chairs. Comfortable (double) bed, plenty of storage in the bedroom. Bathroom with good shower over bath. Was easy to keep cool when the weather was hot, the rooms soon heated from the boiler when the nights cooled. Though in a quiet residential area, easy walking distance from town/railway station/places to eat. Great to have the bakery at the bottom of the road (also greengrocer, butcher, excellent Greek restaurant)

As soon as we entered it was like entering a cozy home. It was bright, immaculatley clean and perfectly appointed with everything you would need for your stay. Joanne and Max put their heart and soul into providing a care free and inviting environment for the traveler. If you're visiting Tundbridge Wells, stay here, you'll be glad you did!

A couple of petty complaints. We are not used to sleeping in a double bed. But it made us closer together. We happened to be there during a bit of an English heatwave, so a fan and maybe alternate bedding (other than the duvet we were given) would have been nice. The local parking restrictions are strange but that's not the host's fault.

The facilities were great. It was lovely to have a full kitchen, and washer and dryer. The location was perfect for us. Close to my family, restaurants and the town centre.

there was nothing not to like!

it was a surprise, the short walkway into the property did not prepare me for what I saw! it was bright, very clean and a really nice apartment. The attention to detail was lovely. I loved how quickly the owner responded to questions and how helpful she was in resolving any challenges as well guiding me to enjoy the best of the city. apartment was right in the centre of the town for easy access. I loved it and I’ll be back !

Pathway leading to the apartment is very dark at night, and the trip light only activates when you’re half way up the 20 steps leading to the property. So this could be a potential trip hazard when climbing the stairs.

We stayed in the apartment over the Christmas period. The property was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. The living room and bedroom are bright and airy, and the furnishing are tasteful and very comfortable. An added bonus was access to virgin media TV and a good internet connection.. The host Joanne left us a bottle of wine, sweets and nibbles which was a very thoughtful touch and much appreciated. Thank you Joanne for a lovely stay, we look forward to coming back Treetops in the future.

We loved everything.

The property was light, airy, large, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It was well equipped and had everything we needed. We were so comfortable there and would definitely recommend to others. The communication from the host was helpful and informative. The apartment is a short walk into town and The Pantiles. We hope to return soon as had such a relaxing stay.

The front garden approach to the outside stairs (up to the 1st floor unit) was a little overgrown and a bit spooky at night. The bed was comfortable but only a small double (the room was of good size though).

Good safe & quiet location. Parking was not a problem for us as we were out in our car during restricted on street parking hours. Unit was clean and washer/dryer were very convenient. Kitchen had all that we needed for our 4 day stay. Lounge was very spacious. Photos are a good indication of the accommodation. Host was very keen to be helpful.

We had a brilliant stay at Tree Tops. It was a perfect base for touring the beautiful counties of Kent and Sussex while Tunbridge Wells itself is a lovely places with its Georgian architecture and lots of choice of bars and restaurants only a short walk away. The property is spacious and well equipped and ideal for chilling out after a long day sight seeing! Thank you Joanne for being a superb host
