The place is quite old and needs a big refurbishment. The lamp in the bathroom is hanging on for dear life and the hairdryer is rather not usable anymore. The reception is not working 24 hours so in case of any problems you're on your own. But overall manageable and, most importantly, clean.

A very clean place. Also the hotel is located close to bus stops and it's not that far to the centre. Breakfast is quite tasty. And there towels even though it wasn't indicated in the offer.

I left a clean my room on the outside of my door after my second night . All they did was put two new bottles of water and replenished the toilet roll . They didn’t replace the dirty towels , empty the bin or replace any bedding. Quite poor customer service to be honest.

The hotel was a bit run down and could've done with a lick of paint. The room was clean but the bathroom was in need of renovation and the shower didn't work very well. The staff (the one guy manning reception) looked very busy but was helpful.

Breakfast was decent. The staff were helpful and the location was great. It was walking distance to the wedding venue we were attending and in a lovely part of town.

Lovely old property, conveniently located for visiting the Town Centre on the regular 3A bus. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but has a very relaxed and informal vibe snd a great curry restaurant, all of which are good value for money. Staff were all kind and helpful.

Dated. Breakfast was not plentiful- quite limited choice and not big portions! No pork (presumably cor religious reasons), which changes a cooked breakfast quite significantly!

The was a feeling of mould which triggered my asthma. The shower was not usable as only a trickle. The breakfast cereal was five months past its use by date so didn't feel comfortable trying any of the other food offered to us at breakfast other than a slice of toast

Had small group of loud lager louts using foul language during bands playing there & made it hard to hear music. Shower in room had hardly any water pressure. Breakfast was very basic.

Although it was great having the bar downstairs the music was a bit too loud if you wanted to go to sleep b4 11 o clock.

It was very convenient for getting to oxford. Small walk to the bustop to catch the no 3 bus that run every 20 minutes and doesn't have the price tag of staying in Oxford. Staff were very friendly. The accommodation in fairness could do with a bit of a spruce up but was nice and clean. Rooms were a good size. Perfect for us who just need a place to sleep
