The food was absolutely excellent and goid value for money! The staff are all warm and friendly and nothing was too big for them. The location just outside Bodmin, was great, as it was so central. The room was basic but clean and tidy with a kettle, and hairdryer

The single room, could have been modernised, but it was ok.

Unfortunately the room itself was a bit of letdown. It felt quite dated and the carpet had a noticeable smell which made the stay less comfortable

The house was a beautiful old cornish building, decorated in keeping with its age. The room was huge, the king sized bed was very comfortable, as was all the seating provided. We had no problems with the WIFI or TV signals. Both the breakfast and evening meals were delicious. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. There was plenty of space for parking.

As OAP's the only thing we had a problem with were the two deep steps in our room from the bed to the seating area. A hand rail would have been handy.

The room was amazing, it was huge and really comfortable. The king bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot and had great pressure. The full cooked breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Room was really comfortable - and incredibly spacious! Staff friendly and helpful. I must also say that the other guests were charming and one in particular went out of her way to help me reach the town centre, for which I am incredibly grateful.

The location is quite far away from any towns, and the bus is very infrequent. Not a criticism of the hotel, but that was the only element which made my stay anything less than perfect.

Good dinner and friendly FOH staff. Very helpful.

On the road and very noisy room. Poor ventilation. Grumpy owner, having a bad day!

Breakfast was great and plentiful. Lots of variety, I especially liked the bowl of fresh fruit

On arrival, I wanted to go for a walk and asked at reception for some suggestions. It was recommended that I try the camel trail by crossing the road and going down the side path. I never found it. But Pencarrow house was close by and fantastic and that wasn't recommended. Maybe just have a few suggestions should crazy clients ask for them.
