Breakfast could have been better in terms of food quality and selection, but was still a pleasant experience and the dining room was pretty. The carpet in the bedroom absolutely needed replacing or at the very least deep-cleaning. Housekeeping service was very limited, the room never really felt clean, more just towels changed and coffee replaced. Also would have been nice if they’d hoovered once during our 4 night stay. Wifi wasn’t great and no sockets next to bed. None of these issues would stop me booking again though, improvements would have just made it better.

Hotel staff were lovely, extremely helpful and professional. The location was stunning, beautiful sea view, close to the beach, fantastic grounds. The bar and restaurant were good. It was family/kid friendly but also elegant and quiet. Rooms were a good size. Pool was nice for kids, not a spa vibe though, more family-play oriented. Would absolutely book again, great value.

The hotel room we were in was fine but nothing special - relatively cramped. However, as part of a family trip where most stayed in a lovely lodge, it worked well.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The lodges are high spec and are in beautifully landscaped grounds.

Having to book pool and spa was a little annoying but understandable to avoid crowding. Food and drinks rather expensive.

The bedroom was very warm, and the windows were sash and low-level window sills. This meant the windows only opened a little due to health and safety reasons, which I get. However, they did supply a cooling fan, but due to the size of the room, this didn't really have much effect. Would've been better if the room had air-conditioning. Apart from that, a great experience and fantastic place to stay.

My husband and I had booked this as our honeymoon and deliberately booked it with it being a spa hotel. We were not able to book any spa treatments as they were all booked up. I fed back to the hotel to ask if they could make it clearer to guests that they need to book prior to their arrival as this was quite a big disappointment for us. So if you are going for spa treatments, please book ahead!! Our bedroom was lovely but absolutely boiling hot despite the plug in fan which meant we did not sleep particularly well.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous sea views. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom even had 2 walk in showers! The car park was very easy to park in and near to the hotel’s entrance. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room was very clean and good facilities. Staff on the whole were very polite and friendly. Alice, at reception, in particular really went out of her way to make us feel looked after.

It was unclear we why it was possible to order breakfast some mornings, but not others. The radio/music played during breakfast was terrible. It was the kind you get assaulted with in cheap clothes shops. The rooms/bathrooms were a bit tired looking and a little small. There were no rooms where you could relax and read/enjoy the place… the bar, which could have been such a place, had a monster TV screen which was always on.

The buffet breakfast was very good and breakfast menu (eg eggs royal) was excellent. The spa facilities.

Breakfast was really disappointing - until we discovered that we could order eggs to be cooked to order, which made it marginally better. Coffee was dire.

Our room had obviously been refurbished which was pleasing - good shower room, spacious. Bed very hard - would benefit from mattress topper.

The mattress on our bed wasn't the best, but our friends loved theirs. Overall , I'd recommend the hotel. The pool area is smallish but it's adequate for a quick dip

I didn't like the fact that we had to book breakfast slots and times for the spa. Being on holiday and having several events on with people that were there with me, meant I didn't know what time I would want breakfast in the morning or use the spa. However, even though I did give a time for breakfast, there was still hardly any food available when I went in at 9.15am - they took at least 20 minutes to replenish the beans, sausages, eggs, bacon etc.

The hotel is in a lovely location and was very comfortable. Staff were friendly. Wasn't in the hotel for much of the time.

The hotel and location were perfection. We stayed in a lodge and it was spotlessly clean with a beautiful view and comfortable bed. Everything you could want is provided. We ate a few times in the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The spa treatments; could suggest the hotel contacts guests prior to stay with the details of booking the spa treatments & pool/gym time slotts. Unable to book all desired Spa treatments during the stay unfortunately however, the one that was facilitated was well worth the cost & would recommend booking.

Excellent staff, from housekeeping, recreation, bar/restaurant, spa, pool/life guard and manager. Could not have asked for best service or attention. Example: requested to eat an evening meal watching the England women’s football final. Facilitated timely without prompting and with excellent service. NOTHING was too much trouble. Food superb; quality of ingredients, hot & choice. Ate 3 evenings in hotel, 5 breakfasts, 2 lunches and a cream tea. Again, excellent service. Parking-good Grounds-beautiful.

The food was “ok” dinner was saved by the waitress who was hilarious and kept our drinks topped up and us entertained, there was a lack of passion in the food or temperature. In the morning hot plates didn’t keep the breakfast warm let alone hot.

Could have done with lids on the self service hot breakfast selection. The bacon was very dry and the other food not that hot. Apart from that the selection was very good.

Beautiful location we were attending a Wedding at the hotel which was lovely.
