Everything! Wonderful, spacious room with great view, in immaculate condition. Spotless, beautiful bathroom. Lisa's attention to detail and devotion to her guest's comfort was exceptional. First class, freshly cooked breakfast with more than you could eat additional continental extras. Catered perfectly for gluten free too.

Lisa is a fabulous host, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Location was ideal - quiet but close to everything. Breakfast was superb! Well cooked and presented, big portions and plenty to choose from. My room was lovely with everything you'd need and great attention to detail. I loved the homemade welsh cakes that appeared each afternoon. It was lovely to come back and enjoy them with a cup of tea before going out for the evening. If I stayed there again I would probably pay the extra and book one of the 2 rooms with a view and allocated parking space, but I didn't realise the difference when I booked, or maybe they were already booked and so didn't appear as an option on the App? I was able to park on the road just outside the B&B, so it was fine. (Lisa said it would be unusual for there NOT to be a space available on the road outside, but as a space isn't guaranteed she doesn't advertise the cheaper room as having parking, to avoid misleading anyone 😁) Overall, a lovely stay that I thoroughly enjoyed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting to explore the Mumbles area and beyond!

The property was beautiful, decorated well throughout. It was very clean and Lisa was lovely. Nothing is too much, she’s very chatty and helpful with recommendations and things to do and places to eat. We will definitely be back again.

This B&B was in a great location, parking, sea view, king size room with a tub! It was exactly what I was looking for when I wanted to book a treat for myself in the Mumbles. The host was very accommodating, I ate breakfast outside on the table in front of the view. THANK YOU again, I will most definitely be back.

Just returned from an amazing two-night stay at 142 The View, The Mumbles, and we honestly cannot recommend it highly enough. It’s absolutely worth the extra compared to other B&Bs in the area. Lisa was the perfect host, welcoming and attentive, and the property itself has been renovated to an exceptional standard. The interior design is stunning, with every detail thoughtfully considered, creating a real sense of luxury and comfort. Breakfast was equally impressive—beautifully presented, delicious, and prepared to a very high standard. Nothing was too much trouble. We’re already looking forward to returning next year to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. Thank you, Lisa and family, for making our stay so memorable!

Absolutely beautiful house and room with the loveliest decor, comfy bedding, and a spacious shower. Really great facilities and had everything we needed for our stay and more. We really appreciated the range of choice we had for the tasty cooked breakfasts and all the pastries/fresh fruit. The location is great, a quiet road but close enough to everywhere we needed to get to. Our host Lisa was really lovely, always made sure we had everything we needed and restocked our room daily with chilled water and homemade welsh cakes. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautifully renovated and decorated throughout with very thoughtful details in the room such as the lovely Welsh cakes, the tea and coffee (including decaf), fresh water and milk in the fridge. I thought the little painted pebbles matching the decor of the room was very cute. Lots of literature around the property to help you explore the local area and make the most of your trip was very thoughtful. The host was very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. Already looking for an excuse to go to Mumbles again so I can stay here again.

Beautiful setting and sea view. Absolutely immaculate room with a beautiful bathroom. Great attention to detail from the lovely host, Lisa. We celebrated my partner's birthday and Lisa went the extra mile. The warm Welsh cakes and the cooked breakfast were superb. Would highly recommend and stay again.

The whole experience was just perfect. Every little detail is thought of, our room was gorgeous , elegant decor with real character and the most amazing bathroom. Our host was so welcoming and to top it off the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Highly Recommend.

I loved the hospitality. The place is spotless and quiet with a private road, breakfast is fantastic with a huge range of continental options (buffet style) + traditional cooked breakfast. There were also homemade Welsh cakes in our room (delicious!) and all sorts of drinks. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful.
