Where do I start lovely stay from beginning to end val and roger amazing people can't do enough for you me and my partner felt very well looked after the view from the room was amazing also they gave us all the info we needed to fill in our days also anyone booking please read the full description as it is a room in their home but I wouldnt have it any other way a big thanks to val and Roger will will definitely be back love the place

Was a shock when arriving to realise that the room was in there home as when reading through before booking it was not in description val explained that she has tried correcting this with booking.com as they put the description where it states it in there home right at bottom of page so you have to go to bottom of page then click on description then read have way down to see this but this did not spoil my getaway and it was a lovely place and val was a lovely host .

Perfect view out of the window, open the window a little and just listen to the sea, so relaxing. Breakfast was a nice included extra I didn't expect. Enjoyed my stay thank you.

The view is excellent we've never had one better, the room had everything we wanted and more and very clean the bed was very comfortable as well and Val is so welcoming and she's very knowledgeable about the area , I would highly recommend it . .

No issues what so ever.

Visiting on may bank holiday weekend. On arrival we were welcomed by Val and Roger who explained everything to us very clearly, where we could go explore, basic rules etc. Everything that was stated in the email, clean room, nice views, friendly host, highly met our expectations. The pirate festival was a lot of fun and would highly recommend it in Brixham. On my birthday, i found a very sweet gift from Val and Roger. Very lovely people.

We are used to this and it doesn’t detract from our stays but just for new visitors to be aware the beach the room overlooks is a dog beach so there are always dogs barking from early in the morning so have a good pair of earplugs if the noise of dogs bothers you!

This was my and my daughter’s 3rd stay with Val and Roger and as always they looked after us amazingly - it is such a home from home with everything you would need for a short stay. The location is perfect with restaurants close by and only a short walk over the hill into Paignton. The bed is super comfy, the views are incredible, and the private gate to the beach is so handy. We love staying here and will be back as long as they’ll have us!

What a little gem of a place! You will not be disappointed. It was the loveliest room with the most amazing view. Val and Roger were the perfect hosts. The room exceeded our expectations. They have literally thought of everything. The bed is super comfy and every day the towels and breakfast basket are replenished. It’s in a great location with easy access to the buses/trains/boat rides. Will definitely be returning!

When we arrived we had a lovely welcome from Val and Roger, Val showed us around our room and told us if we needed anything just give her a shout.The room is lovely and immaculate,we had everything there that you would need . There's a little fridge in the room which has bottled water , orange juice and fresh milk ,fresh milk was a lovely touch because everywhere we have stayed previously it's always uht milk which isn't very nice .Val also does a little breakfast basket which is lovely because it is an extra that she does not have to do , it has cereal bars ,Pan au chocolate and some cereal .The view is absolutely stunning from the room .It's a ten minute walk to Paignton beach walking along the cliffside path which is stunning .Val is very knowledgeable about the local area if you are unsure of the area . I did see reviews before where people were saying you are in a room in someone's house but don't be put off by this because as you enter the front door your room is directly opposite,we literally didn't see our hosts but knew they were there if we needed them .Thank you for a lovely stay ,you can see you guys truly love what you do .

Absolutely Fantastic Stay at Vista Room with Sea View. Val and Roger were great and really looked after us during our stay. The Room was lovely and exceeded our expectations. The view from the room was fantastic and we enjoyed sitting at open window looking out at the sea, beach, park and Brixham. Val provided a breakfast basket of cereal, cereal bars and pain au chocolate. Fresh everyday alongside fresh milk, orange juice and water. Room was cleaned to high standard everyday. Bathroom was perfect and shower was brilliant. Shower Gel provided as well. Free Parking a big bonus. Gate in corner of Car Park leads straight onto beach and park. Great location right by Roundham Head and Goodrington Beach. All in all a great holiday and we'll definitely be back. A big pat on the back to Val (And Roger). Lovely Couple

Totally relaxing stay with amazing panoramic view, we loved the sliding window and it felt like a balcony room. The accommodation is immaculate and spacious with lots of special touches including usb ports either side of the bed. Val and Roger, our hosts, are lovely people and really care about their guests comfort, you can tell Val has put her heart into making the room special. The bed is extremely comfy and we slept really well. Great shower in the bathroom en-suite. There’s a ceiling fan and individual fans either side of the bed although it was not needed as we slept with the window open. The mini fridge is stocked with water, milk & orange juice daily and the the breakfast basket is a nice touch. So glad we found this exceptional place and we will be coming back.

Everything was perfect

You get exactly what you see in the picture, beautiful views, clean and super comfy bed .. the addition off a cooler in the room that gets stocked daily with orange juice water and milk is excellent and the table was perfect for our breakfast.. the hosts were informative, professional and very friendly. We have We will 100% be re visiting , we were even lucky enough to see a pod off dolphins on our first morning from our window .
