I would have liked the opportunity to get a breakfast (even a limited continental ) as had early train but I knew about this before and didn’t plan ahead (no cafe at station either)

Loved the aspect of this hotel with sweeping views over the bay from the spacious living room and sunny front garden. My single room was perfect for my requirements. Tastefully decorated with large smart tv, powerful shower and the usual array of teas/coffees/milk with added biscuits which were replenished daily by room service. The room and whole hotel was very clean. I would say the professional photos are pretty accurate. Didn’t see many staff but they probably don’t need many as the hotel doesn’t do any meals. There is a small bar and vending machine. The two I met were welcoming. The train station is literally a 3 minute walk away and the harbour about 10 mins but it’s a very easy walk. Buses are outside if you don’t want to walk. It is also convenient for Torre Abbey.

The property is located on a main road and is relatively isolated and eerily quiet. Breakfast is not provided, and nearby breakfast/dining options require some travel and walking best option as car parking at a premium. Morning showers were cold (afternoon were fine) but manageable during the recent heatwave.

The hotel operated with minimal staff presence and relied on remote camera monitoring. Staff were available by phone during less busy hours. The location provided convenient access to the train station, scenic views, bus routes, and walking alongside the lovely beach into town.

Lovely Seaview rooms with modern bathrooms, plenty of space and perfect for short stays. 10 min walk from the harbour and 5 minute walk to the main beach. Also free parking on site.

Door handle to downstairs toilet is loose, it came off in my hands. But was able to reattach it.so was able to get out.

Bed should be upgraded , duvet should be breathable as it was very warm in the room , and the covers made it worse , there was no toilet brush in the bathroom , it was very hard to set up the water temp in the shower cabin .

It is located in a very nice place with beautiful view , and our room had a sea view , drinks in a hotel were very reasonably priced , hotel has a nice garden seat area .

Slight wait at reception but im aware I arrived later than earliest check in and also left my own check in time on booking. com blank as I had my own prior plans before arrival which left me in limbo as to when I would arrive. Short stay ticked all the relevant boxes for me.

Budget hotel for myself on a last night stay in Torquay. Needed something to get a decent night sleep ahead of an early start coach journey to London. Room was clean and bed was comfortable and although my room was right next to the train line it didnt keep me awake as I thought it might. All the basics included in the room and I found that not only was the room impeccably clean but the bed (given it was a single) was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was included but my early rise meant I was unable to have one.
