Very sweet cottage right in the heart of the scenic seaside village of Staithes. Just steps away from the waterfront as well as the Cleveland Way walk. The cottage had everything one would need for a short or long stay. Loved the king size bed, hard to find in England. The cottage was very thoughtfully updated and had so much charm, it was hard to leave. Sarah was a great host, very helpful and quick to answer any inquiries. We hope to stay there again sometime in the future.

The door lay out in the bedroom is a bit strange.

A hidden gem! So much attention to detail and absolutely everything had been thought of. We loved it. Really comfy bed, lovely little reading room, great spots to sit outside, two bathrooms and downstairs toilet were really handy. We will definitely be back

A really quaint and nostalgic cottage in the heart of the old village. Full of small, but extremely thoughtful touches that make you feel welcome and at home. Ideal for couples, families and friends who appreciate peace and quiet and who want to spend time on this beautiful stretch of coastline or who enjoy walking. The Cleveland Way is on its doorstep. Sarah and Andrew were extremely responsive and first class hosts from initial booking to check out. Warm and welcoming and quick to answer any questions which we had. Would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this absolute gem of a cottage.

Wonderful from start to finish. Sarah was really helpful and communicative throughout. The cottage is an absolute find in the heart of old Staithes. Everything you could wish for - incredibly comfy beds and cosy fire. We wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back!

Wavelet Cottage is definitely a gem. All boxes checked, the location, comfy bed, cleanliness, and the host was responsive and helpful during our stay. We really enjoyed our holiday at the Wavelet and hope to come back the next time we are in Staithes

Absolutely nothing, we loved everything about Wavelet Cottage!

Wavelet cottage is possible one of the cutest little places we’ve stayed, it’s was so cosy and just like a home from home, we settled right in as soon as we stepped through the door-so much so we didn’t want to leave! The bed was unbelievably comfy, I’ve had to ask where the mattress and topper is from to get our own! The rooms were great sizes and lovely decor, it had everything we needed! Even more Sarah was a great host, responded very quickly and was very friendly and helpful!
