Great labour of love by Pauline and Steve, so many small detailed touches (eg homemade biscuits), very comfortable and convenient and fabulous breakfast and bar. Kids loved the separate room in the suite and we enjoyed the peace!

The owners are such warm, friendly people, the rooms and the guest house in general are spotless and very well decorated, the breakfast is wonderful and you are literally 10 minutes from Brixham using the very good, local bus service.

Breakfast was excellent. Pauline and Steve are superb hosts, very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were decorated to a high standard and they were very well cared for. The patio area was clean and comfortable and we were welcomed with tea and cake.

It's 222 miles away!!

What a little gem. Tucked away and easily missed, but so quiet. Thank you, Pauline, for welcoming us into your home. Immaculate, spotlessly clean, tasteful decor, what isn't there to like. Loved the bar/lounge shame we never had the time to utilise it fully. And that breakfast.....to die for. Well done, Steve, everything cooked to perfection. And not forgetting Kerry either. All three of you gel together like a well-oiled machine. Want ideas on where to go, bus times and bus stops, places to eat etc etc? Ask Pauline, a wealth of local knowledge. Thank you all for making our short stay such a memorable one for all the right reasons. We would highly recommend the Station Guest House, it just cannot be faulted.

Location we loved it, close to so many places to visit yet tucked away really different the steam railway is next to the property but this in our view enhanced it.

Cannot fault the place

Everything! The entire guest house is immaculate, beautifully presented with incredible attention to detail. Well appointed room, comfortable bed, good shower, abundance of thoughtful accessories and an outstanding breakfast. Park right outside, good wi-fi, well stocked bar and a lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the steam railway line for a touch of nostalgia whenever the trains go by. Open aspect to the rear of the property, located just over 2 miles from Brixham harbour.

I think my bed needs a new mattress soon. Also, Google maps takes you to the Railway Inn in front of it. This place is streets nicer than the Railway Inn but not obviously

The owners were super nice and helpful and very thoughtful and you can tell they have a lot of pride in their work and place. You can walk from there to Greenway which was a phenomenal experience. They made up your room daily and I really appreciate the finer touches they put into their place.

Better than most top rated hotels I’ve stayed in, everything about The Station was excellent and the breakfast was on a different level to what you would get elsewhere. Highly recommend a stay if you’re planning a trip to Devon

In a very quiet area but situated near a very regular bus service between Brixham and Torquay. Top quality, excellent breakfast which a great choice. Pauline the host was lovely and helpful with directions etc

A strong handle for accessing the high bath and shower would be safer than the existing towel rail which is loose on the wall. Access to the car park is a little tricky.

Everything we could want was anticipated by Pauline and Steve. Pauline has had a career in hospitality which shows. Excellent breakfast of cereals, pastries fruit and a comprehensive menu of cooked food plus specials.

Excellent location, just out of town but a very easy bus ride into Brixham and beyond. Pauline and Steve were fantastic hosts. The decor is to a high standard and our room was lovely. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The honesty bar was also a great touch.
