Was a pleasant stay I liked the overall guesthouse and the room was pretty with good facilities and was clean.

Didn't feel very safe with the locks and the room was overall cramped i'm 5,6 and had to hunch over most the time. Was not the same as the image shown, same layout and vibe just in the attic and a lot smaller and warmer. Also due to room being so warm the UHT milk sachet had gone off and the thing that made me feel most on edge was being able to hear every word and sneeze and cough from the room next to us, walls were thin. We were in room 3.

Cute decor! Clean bathroom and comfortable bed.

No control on temperature, we were too hot.

No shower gel in the shower and room isn't the size it shows in the pictures

The location is fantastic, access to the property is simple and it’s nicely decorated

I don’t think it should be advertised as “hotel” it’s a guest house which needs making more clear. We also had an issue in the fact the beds are quite small

The location is great, only a few minutes from the station. The room was very clean and had all the necessary facilities.

The place was full of dust, the bathroom stunk of urine, it was not a double bed, it was a small double. The room was tiny with no real space, roof beams were super low, banged heads a few times, bathroom sink was tiny and you could not wash your hands without soaking the floor, floor was super creaky with loose floor boards, could hear everything from the next room and the rest of the building, it looks lovely in the pictures but the pictures are deceiving.

Very good accommodation. Great location in Windemere and on the main road to other places so very easy to get around. A lot in the area. The room is small but ideal for a base and the room we had had toilet and shower so was great.

Super clean and smart. Really good location close to station, restaurants, buses and shops.

Missing a hand towel.

Just to note this isn't a hotel its a hostel We got given our codes by txt the day of our booking to get into the hostel. (Main door seen in pics & room door on floor 1) No staff there ( you will not see anyone ) But was nice and clean 😁 Very happy and liked the fact we could take our dog, Theres a note board in the room on how you pay for dogs. We did that day of leaving in cash. The Room was lovely , we stayed in room 2 for 2 nights, had our own toilet/shower came with 2 large towels and 1 hand towel Had kettle , tea/coffee and cups/glasses Hairdryer in draw And right by the little village around shops and lovely walks. Parking can be tricky, so we put our in the train station and paid, which in a 2 mins walk away. The only thing I would say is there is no fan in the room and the room was warm, luckily we brought our own, but wanted to note that 😁 We had a great stay and would stay again Thanks

Room was clean, comfortable & had everything you need for a few days away. Location was close to everything you need & parking wasn’t an issue.

Other guests were stomping around, TV didn’t work and the room was a little bit small

The bed wasn’t very comfortable the mattress was rather hard and difficult to get a good nights sleep.

The venue is located in a strategic position not far from the station and the streets where you can find restaurants and pubs. The room is overall cosy and pretty quirky in style, with new appliances, wall coverings, and details. Wee opted for this as it was good bargain compared to other locations in the area during the bank holiday weekend.

The name "Central Hotel" is definitely misleading as, in actual facts, this is a guesthouse! There is no reception (you go through self-checkin), and the room and bathroom are tiny. The roofline is really low on a side and this makes it hard to access part of the bed (get ready to bang your head multiple times). Further to this, the acoustic insulation is not great, and you can hear everything from the street and the adjacent rooms.

Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! Great location and facilities, very clean and the customer service was great and very helpful :)

The furnishing was aesthetically pleasing

The radiator was stuck on full heat despite ‘turning off’ the radiator making it unbearable to be in the room and unable to sleep The entrance was poring with water from the smoke detector ( huge health and safety risk!)and leaking water from the low ceiling on the stairs Extremely low ceilings in the bedroom with absolutely no warnings or signs ( another huge H&S failure) Quite a tight squeeze for two people in this room. The bathroom was very small and limited space to use the toilet, the bathroom door also didn’t close properly. Also, be mindful of parking outside as the ticket warden is very keen !!! All in all, we feel like we have heat stroke and concussion but the decor was nice.

The location was very good.

Very uncomfortable beds, very hot and unable to open the window, room next door very noisy and kept us awake until gone 3am, stairs very steep and difficult when offering ‘pet friendly’ to get things to the room. Tea and Coffee facilities had not been replenished in the room and the floor hadn’t been vacuumed - had better nights and rooms in YHA
