Two ensuite rooms with their own lounge with tea/coffee. Breakfast ordered the night before and cooked to order with host Phil on hand to talk about his passion for the seal rescue unit that he runs.

We did not have a TV in our room, the other two Bed and Breakfast rooms had access to a shared lounge, as a storm was in effect on our arrival we had to go out to have dinner but it meant we had to stay a while to run the evening down as we would have had nothing to occupy ourselves when back at the B & B so an early night it was. Also was really quite anxious driving to and from the pub during the storm so was unable to relax and enjoy ourselves fully.

Location and 10 minutes from the ferry to Orkney. Loved that they were a Seal Rescue and Rehabilitation as well as a camping site and bed and breakfast. Cracking breakfast. Our host was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Phil and Claire are fantastic hosts - hilarious chat and a great place to stay. The Caithness Seal Rescue and Release centre was an unexpected lovely surprise! Thank you so much - we will be back and next time stay for longer ❤️

Stunning location. Lovely self contained room attached to the property. Very clean and comfortable. Phil gave ideas about where we could get dinner and the next day told us some good places to visit. Breakfast was excellent!

No issue and as expected, but not the twin room was very small. So only really good for sleeping, nothing much more.

Excellent location, shame had to rush off in the morning for the ferry, otherwise would have been nice to explore around the area. Host was very cheerful and pleasant, breakfast good and a nice gift shop.

I'm delighted we chose to stay here while we were touring the NC500 by motorcycle. We were provided with very safe parking for our motorcycle, and enjoyed a great chat with Phil before meeting Claire who welcomed us and showed us around. The room and beds were very comfortable. The bathroom may have been a tad on the small side but was clean and had a great shower! There was a lovely lounge where guests could enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and watch tv. We enjoyed a great breakfast in the morning. Phil has a wide range of interests and is very interesting to talk to. We would stay here again as it's a lovely, quiet location. Thank you, Phil and Claire, for your hospitality.

The room was very small and too close to another room for us. The bathroom was very small and basic. It was adequate for our needs but a little claustrophobic.

We liked the hosts and the location was lovely. The breakfast was really good cooked by Phil. The shared lounge was very comfortable.

There is a shared area with another room for the television and sitting area. This didn't worry us at all as we were out all evening.

Really friendly owners made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Stunning location with walk down to a little harbour area where we saw lots of seals. The Northern Sands hotel is a couple of miles away and the food and service there was exceptional.
