The shower screen was too small and 5 seal was missing from the bottom so it leaked...other than that there was nothing to complain about. Very comfortable stay

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and a very good size. Quiet location too

The shower over the bath. Didn't realise they didn't do breakfast in the morning.

A good size room, clean. It was very warm in the bedroom, but the staff was very helpful and gave us a fan overnight.

Would have liked to be informed about the certain hours/rules our son (2) wasn’t allowed in downstairs as we were kicked out several times but when we said we were staying upstairs it was allowed. I way to cool down the rooms, room 2 was always very hot even with the heater off.

Rooms were spacious enough for our family of three. There was a bar downstairs for food which had good deals Mon-Friday.

Lovely hotel, like staying in a stately home

The sofa bed in the room was not comfortable and creaked whenever my friend moved. We also felt that as as family room it might be better to have two single beds instead of the soifa bed.

On arrival we were very impressed by this lovely Victorian building, it felt like staying in a stately home. Check-in is at the bar and it was busy (Mother's Day weekend) but we were quickly and politely dealt with. Staff were friendly and respectful. A member of staff (Gary) showed us to our room and carried our bags for us. Everything was fully explained and we could ask anything or ask for further items for the room. Our room (Family room) was spacious and well-decorated. The double bed was huge and comfortable with lots of pillows. The sofa bed was not so comfortable. As a family room, it may be better to have 2 single beds instead. There was plenty of storage space and a TV too. The room was lovely and warm when we arrived and felt very welcoming. The bathroom was clean and had a shower over the bath. It looked very well cared for and there was a nice scented hand-wash and shower gel. We had dinner in the restaurant which was lovely and arrived piping hot. There was plenty of choice from small plates to a 3 course meal. There is a large car park and the hotel was about 10 minutes walk from Prestwich where we were attending an event. It was raining as we were about to leave but taxis can be called by hotel staff. I hesitate to say this as it may not be possible for all guests, but Gary drove us to our event. Above and beyond Gary! We were very pleased with our stay and will be returning when we attend our next Prestwich event later this year. I read some of the previous reviews but can honestly say that things are definitely very different now.

The bathroom needs a fix up. I don’t want to use the bath and the shower doesn’t have any pressure to it. I understand it’s an old building but it lets the beautiful room down.

The bed was so comfortable, the room was beautiful and the location very quiet.

Breakfast wasn't available but there were tea and coffee facilities in the room.

I was attending a private party being held in the hotel so it was lovely to go up to bed straight afterwards. The bed was warm and comfortable. There was lots of parking and the food served in the downstairs bar was tasty 'pub grub'.

No Breakfast, there was noise from the plumbing other room bathrooms as it is an old building. It wasnt a big deal. In the picture our room had a sofa at the end of the bed. There was no sofa in the room and that was a bit misleading.

The size of the room, the high ceilings, the bed was massive and very very very comfortable. We had a great sleep. The area was very quiet. Large free parking space

Had to wait I little bit for our food order but couldn't fault the meals. Only slight criticism is there wasn't a proper steak option but there were plenty of other options.

The hotel was lovely and cosy, family room was very spacious and had plenty of room for us all.
