Noisy. Traffic and other guest doors slamming past midnight. Suggest ear plugs. Room small. Bathroom very tired. Shower too small, basin plug broken/ not working. Heated towel rail falling off wall. Breakfast horrid.

Extremely pleasant hosts. Restaurant and bar nice places to spend time. Evening meal very well prepared. Good size single bed and mattress very comfortable.

Generally very hygienic and clean with some very notable exceptions but the bedrooms were good. Friendly staff but very busy. Food was excellent.

Beautiful inn. Great for a stopover on my road trip. Comfy clean room. Delicious dinner in the Nepalese restaurant 🍴. Lovely Full English breakfast included in the morning. Good value for money all round. ☺️

All we needed and more. A village Inn modernised by a Gurkha family - combination of two traditions and phantastic Asian food in the restaurant. No need to look elsewhere. Delicious as well. Room etc. just right. Anytime again.

The room could do with a little make over, cracked sink, broken toilet seat, it's an old building so there are bound to be some things that need fixing,

Room a bit shabby and could be cleaner. Damaged furniture and unsafe socket by bed. No bedside lights and very poor light in bathroom. Male staff lacked good spoken English and upbeat hospitality skills.

Breakfast was an interesting experience as there was no cereals offered The full cooked breakfast consisted on 1 fried egg, 1 rasher of bacon, 1 sausage, 1 mushroom cut into little pieces, 1 tomato. Tea went cold very quickly.

Not really what i didn't like just stuff to work on. Room itself needed a little tlc. The sink had no plug which was a bit of a pain. The breakfast also could use some improvement. Hash browns especially overly oily and over fried so just oily and crispy so all potatoes inner dried up.

Staff where lovely and friendly and very attentive room was clean and pretty spacious for a single room and had a nice view of the front.

The sink in the bedroom was quite blocked, it took ages for any water to go down it. Also some wear and tear about the room, it could do with a re-paint I reckon.

The staff were so lovely and nice and the breakfast was amazing. The bed was nice and comfy and it was really easy to check in and out. The staff were also on the desk at midnight and sold me some snacks which was very needed.

The rooms were dated and some cosmetic work needed but beds were clean and was perfectly adequate for us.

Some of the decor could do with a refresh, but the accommodation was clean and had everything we needed.

The location was perfect for our 1-night stay for a Wedding reception near Lydney. The reception staff and extended family were very welcoming. Breakfast was a good full English and it was lovely to be able to mix with the hosts a bit.
