The fridge was noisy and kept coming on during the night, im a light sleeper so was annoying, and there where a lot of flies which is to be expected in the rural setting

The location was so peaceful, the views where stunning, we enjoyed the fire pit

We didn't like the wood lice being everywhere even in pots. We also did not like the mould in the shower room. But overall the place was nice.

We like the quiet area as we live in a loud city it was nice and important for us to get some peace and that we did. The jacuzzi was beautiful and allowed us to completely give in and relax completely.

We stayed for a week and id say only downside was no hob but we managed to cook most things in the air fryer and microwave. Everything else was amazing!

The property was amazing as soon as we arrived it was so welcoming and clean. Very cozy feel to it the bed was super comfortable and it was so peaceful. Night time was magical it was so dark and the sky so clear could see all the stars. Lazy spa was great day and night and super relaxing and sitting by the fire pit at night. Super friendly staff and helpful on information on places to visit and things happening in surrounding areas. Even our neighbours (the sheep) was nice. We loved our stay and plan on a weekend trip away sometime.

Everything! We looked for a bolt-hole where we could escape from the world for a week and this was perfect. The cabin contained absolutely everything you could possibly need, Elsa has thought of everything. She made sure we were OK and then left us to our own devices which was perfect. The bed is very comfortable, and it was great to relax in the hot tub. We loved the sheep who often came to stare at us over the fence, and we had visits from rabbits and a cat too. Nearby Caersws has a great little newsagent and a really nice chip shop.

- The only downside I would say is that there are a tremendous amount of flies. The fly light and the spray don't work, there are just so many of them. We had to keep all the windows and doors open constantly but it did very little. By the end of our stay I was finding dead ones in the bed which was a bit sickening. I couldn't have stayed a full week with all the flies like that , but temporarily I could deal with it. This is the only reason I've knocked down a point , otherwise the accommodation would have got 10/10. I've never stayed anywhere, even in other remote shepherd huts , with such an astonishing amount of flies inside.

-the location was brilliant, very isolated and quiet, no one else around except the owners farm. I only saw the farmer once in four days -the sheep all around the hut was lovely and natural -the hut itself is very well designed for such a small space - there's everything you need: a bedroom, a kitchenette, a bathroom -the shower is excellent, really powerful and hot -the hot tub was fantastic. We were told the day before coming that the hot tub (actually a lazy spa, but still very good) wasn't working , and we were really disappointed. However when we arrived , the owners had bought a new one , so we were elated. We used it twice a day ! Super relaxing and hot. Amazing to be in it during the day and under the stars. Completely elevated the entire stay - having a hot tub with a shepherds hut is just the best - the firepit included free logs and was a nice way to spend an evening with wine - the bed was very comfy - free prosecco and after eight mint chocolates in the fridge when you arrive

Owner was absolutely lovely, we enjoyed our stay , so peaceful, the Prosecco and box of chocolate was a nice touch.

This is a stunning location, we loved it. Beautifully peaceful, with all you need. Rain or shine this a perfect get away. Amazing hosts, very kind and accommodating. We really enjoyed Y Cwtch, was an amazing find. Thank you.

We liked everything.

We loved our time at Y Cwtch. It's a very peaceful area, surrounded by fields. The place was relatively comfortable and clean, anything you could expect from a countryside retreat and a great value for money, the outdoor jacuzzi was a great bonus and the hosts were very welcoming and nice.

We did like everything. But just to point out, the photos showed that the place had a small cooker and microwave but actually had a microwave and Airfryer only.

Wonderfull setting. Very comfortable bed. A beautiful, glamping style, place, especially when the weather is kind.

Its so cosy. All utensils that you would need. Dressing gowns for the hot tub. Bottle of bubbly and chocs on arrival.
