Delightful,compact, perfectly appointed, peaceful. The owners were perfect hosts. The property is beautifully decorated with lovely little touches in fabulous grounds. We were in need of a break and this was ideal. We would love to go back.

Liked everything about our choice. The location was quiet but not isolated, easy to find and close to the main travel link for the island. The accommodation was as imagined, cosy, comfortable and well equipped for the type. Nice li welcome package left by the hosts who were extremely pleasant, sociable and welcoming. They explained everything about the accommodation and site in detail. Overall a place we would highly recommend to those who want to get away from the hustle and relax for a few days in a tranquil setting surrounded by many places to go and activities to partake in. Would definitely return.

This is our third year staying in a Shepherds Hut on Anglesey, a different one each time and each has been unique and special in it's own way. It's secluded enough to be away from any noise but easy to find.

Everything was perfect! However, suggestions to enhance things further...a mirror in the main part of the hut for doing hair would be useful and a cushion on the two chairs. These aren't necessary however as we thoroughly enjoyed the stay

The location is amazing and great for a peaceful getaway. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. The Shepherd's Hut, whilst compact, has everything you need and the welcome hamper was a delightful treat. Waking up to the sounds of the sheep and sitting in the garden was so relaxing. Even the rain didn't dampen our spirits. I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Such a heartly welcome. The hut was clean and very cosy and very well equipped. There was even a small oven and wood prepared to warm the hut on the rather chilly September morning. We really enjoyed our stay on Anglesey.

From the warm welcome to the immaculate presentation of our accommodation we were immediately put at ease and began to unwind. The shepherds hut is practical, comfortable and well thought out. The shower was better than we anticipated and the bed was super comfy, we both slept very well. Then the breakfast! All the reviews rave about the breakfast, and rightly so! The best we have ever been served, superior to many five star hotels in our opinion, everything we could possibly want to set us up for another day of racing at Anglesey Track which is only a short drive away. Highly recommend for luxury glamping, romantic getaway, or a simple stress free retreat!

There was anything I didn't like.

Such a beautiful place to stay! Nerys and ritchard are lovely hosts and think of all the little and big things to make your stay comfortable and happy. The breakfast was amazing 👏 the surrounding areas that the hut is located on are beautiful and I didn't want ti come home. Will definitely be returning!

Our stay in the shepherd's hut was wonderful. What a great idea to make it possible to sleep in such a nice and cosy location. During our stay, the weather was sunny, so we spent much time outside, enjoying the views and undertaking small tours with our e-bikes. Our hosts Nerys and Richard were welcoming, we felt virtually at home. Stunning breakfast. A real treat. Many thanks for a memorable stay!

We found everything fantastic about this beautiful place, hosts, location, facilities we all brilliant. Nery and Richard are lovely people and couldn't be more welcoming and accomodating. The setting and garden are lovely too, feels very open. Not a negative more just something to bear in mind, they do cater for electric car charging and have a parking space but it's a 3 pin plug not type 2.

The location was perfect, so quiet, just sheep and cows as neighbours. The breakfast was just so good. Nerys is a wonderful cook and put so much thought and work into the presentation of the food. The cheese, apple and cinnamon rolls were delicious!

Nothing at all

Everything, views, nice and quiet, only the occasional bleat from the sheep in the field, fabulous breakfast, need to loose weight now, and the hosts are brilliant, friendly, and care about you and enjoying your stay, but never intrusive. We initially booked for 2 nights, but within an hour of being there, we had decided to see if we could add another night on, and we were lucky the hut was available. A surprise was a lovely welcome basket. It’s a place you want to shout about, but then you may never get the chance to stay again. Thank you Nerys and Richard

Leaving to come home!

Literally can't say enough good things about this stay. Beautiful location, gorgeous shepherd's hut with so many thoughtful touches. The best breakfast selection we have ever had. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise. Nerys and Richard are two of the nicest people you will meet. Great local knowledge and recommendations. The bonus of separate access to a fridge, microwave and washer was great.

Nested in a serene location, with dreamy pastures right at your doorstep, staying here naturally nourishes one’s soul. To top it off, Richard and Nerys were the absolutely sweetest hosts, thank you! We enjoyed every single bit of this experience from catching the gorgeous sunrise, to the amazing breakfast each morning, and learning about the significance of the Shepherd’s hut all while staying in it - this has left us heartfelt memories never to forget :)

Only the last 2 miles where the road is very narrow was a bit scary to me as I’m usually also driving on the other side of the road. But other than that there is really nothing to complain about.

Everything! It is a very quiet and peaceful area surrounded by wonderful nature.
