A great place to stay. For example, I am a poor sleeper but had two restful nights!

This an unpretentious place with strong community ties--the staff and customers were friendly and welcoming: I couldn't ask for any more. I will use it again and recommend to others.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great for access to Snowdonia and Lleyn Peninsula. We had an evening meal in the bar and the food was really tasty and good value. We also had the continental breakfast, which was perfectly sufficient for what we needed and, again a very reasonable price. Having free parking right outside was very helpful.

It would have been helpful to mention that some rooms have water from the well - it was a bit worrying to see a sign in the bathroom saying not to drink the water. When a nice member of staff told us the reason the next morning it was reassuring (and drinking water was available on the landing)

Great location for the Slate Trail.

Small bathroom with limited facilities. Minimal storage space Couldn't drink the tap water, however fresh water was provided on the landing. The building is an old listed building therefore windows were the old wooden sash style. As it is Community owned they are gradually making improvements. Breakfast not included.

Friendly atmosphere, good value. The staff were very helpful. Location is great for many of the sights in this area of Wales, particularly for walkers. Great place to meet the locals.

The shower was cold only, fortunately it was over 30 degrees outside! The kitchen staff played music loudly late into the night and below our room when all windows had to be open.

Centrally located community owned pub focused primarily around the bar. Well used by locals. Great community spirit. Lovely to hear Welsh used so much. Good pub grub food and a wide range of drinks.

A little noisy on the first night due to a darts match (kind of expected it as it’s a pub after all), however 2nd night was peaceful.

Really just the breakfast info on the booking sites.

The staff and the community were lovely and really helpful - and it’s a beautiful area. I think they just need to update some of their booking site descriptions to be clear on if breakfast is available as I am sure I saw it was but they weren’t doing it when we stayed. Everyone was so helpful and friendly and it was good value for money in a great location.
