Some hooks in the bedroom - esp as no storage spaces. Same in the shower - made it uncomfortable to use - had to leave items on floor outside. Bedside lights are very bright, and 11pm is rather late for the curfew. Better-quality bread for breakfast would be a plus. Exceptionally loud doors.

Pleasant bedroom and attractive communal areas. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Good breakfast. Good bike storage. Flexibility with check-in timing.

The WiFi wasn't great, but then we were trying to get away from the world so we were not too disappointed!

YHA Swanage are one of the best YHAs in the country. We will return.

Barely any ventilation in the room. We had 8 men sleeping in the same room, all sweaty and smelly. We could only open one of the windows 10cm or so.

Large breakfast, very friendly staff, secure bike shed. Overall good quality facilities, including kitchen, showers, toilet etc and great location.

The windows in our room had been restricted so there was limited ventilation. Check in at 5pm is a little late.

The only negative view I had about the place was that there were only 2 dorm rooms ( male and female) and the rest of the rooms were private rooms. I guess it just goes against my understanding of what a hostel is. Not sure how many backpackers were unable to get an affordable bed as a result. But it didn’t affect me as I was able to book for the nights I wanted.

The property had high ceilings and large windows giving it an open and airy feel. There were great facilities including a large self service kitchen with several fridges, 2 microwaves,2 sinks etc, a dining room where cooked breakfast was served and a lounge to relax in. There was seating in the kitchen ( and although it was busy at certain times of the morning) there was the possibility to sit outside on benches as the weather was so good. The location is great about 5 mins walk from the centre ( although it is up a steep hill) and about 15 mins walk from the bus terminal. The girls dorm was a big room and a good size for 6. I wasn’t sure that the 4 toilets and 6 showers would be enough for the number of rooms on our floor but I never had an issue. All areas I used were super clean. Staff were on hand mornings and evenings and were friendly and approachable.

Room was quite hot during the night, even with the window open there was little ventilation

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room we were allocated had an incredible view of the sea! Watching the sunrise out of the sea every morning was a beautiful experience! Perfect location to visit Swanage as well. Lovely breakfast! Would definitely recommend to stay here!

Magic !! Lovely old building ,modern super clean inside fit out, beautiful garden setting and friendly helpful staff. Plenty of free parking on site. Great location with views and close to town. 10 out 10, Great YHA stay I'll be back !! Brett from Australia
