How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewFirstly the host was beyond welcoming. Really felt safe and comfortable. I didn't pre arrange transport from the airport so she came to pick me up, I was extremely greatful for that. The accommodation was clean and had everything I needed. I had privacy but did not feel isolated. The bed and air-conditioning was lovly. It was near restaurants and food delivery companies knew where it was. Absolutely loved my stay and it was a bonus the host was extremely kind!
I can't complain about anything. For a complainer like myself to not have one thing to say is a big deal.
Thank you, Mirium, it was a real pleasure to be your Host.

Verified reviewThe view from the small veranda
Staying in a stale and dirty environment/ the depressing vibe around the place / noise at night time from people staying underneath me / TV so loud until late . Also Angela nolonger offers breakfast as stated and the washing machine is charged for to use it .
Guest was happy until I caught her with the AC on and doors and windows open, not once but twice, and said that I would be charging for the misuse, i.e., running up my electric bill. After that, things went south. I'm not sorry to see her leave. I do not do breakfast, as is stated in the listing information, but there is a kitchenette, and to use the washing machine is 2us, a pd service also in the listing info. There are always leaves from the almond tree around, and there is a breeze coming in from the east, so it is impossible to have a stale environment.

Verified reviewThe view from the balcony was stunning. Great facilities. Friendly host and a great shower
No water in the room
re water guest is referring to bottled water, not water from the tap. For other potential guests, water in Grenada is safe to drink and tastes a lot better than some of the bottled water available. I have been to other rentals as a guest and bottled water was not provided, so I don't see that as a negative.

Verified reviewMy host was very helpful and friendly. My room had a great view of the city and there were many options to watch on fire stick when in the room. It was also convenient to the downtown area by taxi. I enjoyed my stay.

Verified reviewMaybe I just had a bad experience because my stay was not very pleasant. Unfortunately the good things about my review will be minimal, but I want to give an accurate depiction of the property as of 9 Aug 2023. The host was very nice and welcomed me upon my delayed arrival. I was in unit B for 4 days and the view from the terrace was very nice. It is in a quiet location and not too far from the downtown area.
As other reviews have stated, the cleanliness of the unit was not satisfactory. There were bugs in the kitchen and bathroom. Toilet had not been cleaned and the mirrors were filthy. No hand soap in the bathroom and an almost empty bottle of dish soap in the kitchen. The A/C and firestick remotes did not work during my stay. Hope this issue will be resolved for future guests. A few other things to note: you will need to climb down about 20 steps to get to the unit, the pictures were somewhat accurate. There was no patio set between the huts as shown in the listing. The bed is VERY FIRM! If I had the option to leave, I would have done so. It felt like I was sleeping on the floor. Putting blankets underneath did not help. Yes, it is close to downtown, but there are multiple hills to climb up and down. I hope this review is helpful.
it hard to respond to a review like this i don't think it's deserved having said this we have gone over everything with a fine tooth comb and it's all clean with appliances and electronics working and hope that this will be reflected in the upcoming reviews. just some perspective the guest first complaint was about the mattress being too firm and that she recently had back surgery. she did not message about this beforehand which I think would have been important for her comfortable stay not only that but the guest had two large heavy checked 🎒 not suitable for someone with a bad back and b4 guest can book they are made aware of the steps down to the Hut

Verified reviewGreat view from the balcony. Comfortable bed. Air conditioning in the room to escape the outdoor heat. Peaceful location which means you can sleep well, and it's only a 10-15 minute walk to St.George's Town/Harbor. Room has a small kitchen. Owner was friendly. I had an excellent stay. Thank you so much and can't wait to be back!

Verified reviewThere was a really good breeze, the view was good, the hut had all you need to have a great time, the bed was really comfy. There was a big hill to climb up from the local shop, but lady in the local shop made the climb back up worth it, she had absolutely everything .Angela the owner was very friendly and helpful could not do enough to make our stay good
Grenada is very hilly and we got really fit walking to town, but needed a bus back well worth $2.50 each to get back.

Verified reviewThe huts are nice and have all that you need for a stay here. The owner is nice and helpful.
You need to walk uphill a bit if you want to get there from the city center. It was quite dirty, the kitchen and bathroom were not cleaned for a while I guess. The sheets were clean though.
Thanks for your feedback. I would have liked to be notified on arrival so that the cleaning could have been updated during your stay and not after.
