Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Trinidad and TobagoI would have liked a microwave in the room because my dad and I may have had food items that needed reheating. Thank you.
Proximity to beach and mall. Clean sheets, towels and room in general. We appreciated having a mini fridge and a kettle. Seeing the sunset from the balcony was fantastic.

United StatesFood was very disappointing and expensive - like school dinners. We mainly ate at nearby restaurants. We weren’t all inclusive and felt that even the breakfast and lunches were really expensive. It would have been nice to sit enjoying the lovely view with our friends at breakfast instead of trekking to the roti shop in a strip mall for food most days. Really need to improve quality of food - the one big let down.
Great location with an excellent dive school - Eco Dive - in the grounds. Staff very friendly and grounds very pretty and safe. Hotel was right on beach and a short taxi ride from airport. Wish my adult children’s room had been next to ours just to make it easier to communicate plans, etc.

United KingdomThe drinks and food were expensive, and the food was not very good. Reception was full of mossies so we got munched every time we went there ! No coverage of the Olympics :-(
We liked the option of having a pool and the beach. It was well maintained. There was a gym, and a good on site dive/snorkel centre.

United StatesThere was lots of mosquitoes and at night for some reason if you sleep with the lights on there’s lots of little flies I was told since Merrill the Storm that’s what been happening. So what are they doing about it because that’s a problem for the resort.

CanadaLoud music around the pool area fine, but consider scheduling some "quiet times" during the day at the pool for guests.
Standard English breakfast was good, but would like to see more local food selections at the buffet. Dinner menu could include more local food selections. The lounge and restaurant areas are very nice. Social events were fun.

United StatesThe Hotel is directly at the beautiful Anse Beach. Although all beaches in Grenada are public beaches, it was never crowded. I like that hotels cannot exclude the local people from the beaches. The food was excellent, I would rate the evening dinner as Gourmet food. The breakfast is very British with local additions like, e.g. plantains and fish cake. The beautiful garden is very well maintained, and the rooms are very clean (with service 2x a day). The hotel is located across the mall and supermarket. The minibus line #1 stops there. The minivans get you for US$1 into St. George and back. Everybody on the island will take US$ BUT it has to be new bills. If the bill is crumbled, it will not be excepted.

United StatesDrinks could be stronger for the price. I even got doubles and it didn't taste like any alcohol was in them. I would have preferred more local type of meals as optional for lunch or dinner. None of these are deal breakers.
The hotel was a beautiful beach side resort. Perfect location. The room, pool, dining facilities were all wonderful.

United StatesLogistics as a bit of a mess. Security confused on how to identify you as a resort guest for instance (said you needed wrist bands. Not the case). They need more front desk admin to handle their day to day would probably help most.
Food was a bit of a mess. Hard to connect to room service. No easy food options between 3-7pm. Not kid friendly in that sense.

United StatesCoffee was instant, that really needs improvement. Food choices, in general, were limited. I wish there was more of a mix in ages, it seemed a retired crowd, no children or families.
Beach is phenomenal. Perfect temp, comfortable chairs, choice of sun or shade. The water was refreshing, beach great for walking.
