Reviews of Hotel 717 Kazbegi

This hotel is perfect for your stay in Kazbegi and we would highly recommend it. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay more. The rooms are spacious, clean, with an excellent en-suite and our room had a fabulous view of the village and mountains with a little balcony. There is a communal kitchen which is extremely well resourced and offers you free tea and coffee. With a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and utensils you can easily make your own meals. The owner is warm and welcoming and even gave us a bottle of his homemade wine which was delicious. The hotel is in easy walking distance to the small town where you can dine, explore or even plan excursions. This was the best hotel we stayed in during our visit to Georgia.

The negative was the fact we only had one night, we wish we had stayed longer

Absolutely stunning view from the windows! Good location close to the centre of the village with its cafes, but in a quiet zone. The woman at the reception desk was super kind and friendly and brought a jug of wine when she learned that one girl from our little party had a birthday. The rooms were comfortable and clean, though a bit cold the first day. It was also very convenient to have tables in the rooms, we made some tea and played a board game. As for the canteen, there were great wooden tables, a fridge, and tea bags.

Property owner is the sweetest lady and she is really helpful in case you need anything. Everything is really clean and comfotable.

Its clean and friendly staff

Not only a Hotel - it became my Georgian home. Probably the best hotel you can get in Stepantsminda! The hotel is relatively new, very stylishly furnished & clean rooms & bathrooms and is lovingly run by a family. Very warm and extremely helpful - you immediately feel welcome. Thank you for the wonderful days with you, for your amazing hospitality, for your support with the questions I had and the many small kind gestures! You made my stay perfect! I stayed here for 5 nights and was very happy to come back to the hotel every time. I can only warmly recommend the hotel!

It has very good location if you are traveling without car. Host is very kind and friendly, she was very attentive to us. Everything is clean.

I loved the materials used in the interior. The bathroom is comfortable. The water pressure is super strong. I loved the hostess. A nice woman with warm and tender smile. The location is just great. The view is marvelous. To cut short, I'll definitly rebook it if I get there again.

Everything was good except as stated below. Very friendly staff, good location and price. Clean room in a quiet neighborhood.

The beds were ok. They had feather pillows. The staff replaced two for non-allergenic ones when asked. The room lacks storing. The management did not clean the room everyday. They did not ask if they had to. One night we had very noisy and unrespectful young hosts at the basement floor. We could not sleep.

Very good, clean place

Clean, updated, safe, and comfortable. Very responsive staff. Always available parking. The paid breakfast was good, though at 09:00 quite late for the way I organize my travel days. Great views from the rooftop terrace.

What a beautiful newly built guest house! Huge thanks to the host for making our stay exceptional. From warm welcoming, complimentary home wine, to nice conversation and tea sweets. Everything was beyond expectations.
