I booked this hotel based on the photos of Mount Kazbeg View from the balcony of this hotel and this hotel location surprised me . I woke up for praying Fajr prayer at around 5am and the sunrise is around 5.30 am . I came to the balcony at 5.30 am and to my surprise it was a sunny day with no clouds around mount kazbeg and the white snowy mount kazbeg was shining due to sunlight and i cannot forget this in my lifetime. The Beautiful stepantsminda Village with surrounding mountains was a picture perfect landscape to watch from the balcony. The Room given to my family was on first floor and was spacious. The Beds were comfortable for sleeping. The Hotel is on a hill top but close to market and Maharaja Indian Restaurant for delicious food.

There is nothing that I did not like

This is a super amazing property managed by a father and daughter duo. It's said that there's a language barrier in Georgia, not even for once I felt that. I was welcomed with a cup of coffee and the father took care of everything that I needed. They offered me lentil soup in the morning for breakfast because I told I was vegetarian and would search something outside. A loving experience and I am going to definitely come back again.

I had a fantastic stay at the Aloft Hotel in Stepantsminda! The rooms were clean and cozy, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is also perfect, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. This charming family-run hotel was great value for money. They swiftly responded to all my requests. A coffee in the hanging egg chair on the porch with a view of the Mount Kazbegi is a thing to remember.

I made a last minute reservation for a few nights at Aloft Hotel from the Marshrutka and it was the highlight of my stay in Georgia. The owner, Alexei, was one of the most friendly and welcoming people I have met in my travels. He speaks english better than most Georgians and the check-in process was a breeze. The room I had booked was a ground floor basic room as I was traveling alone. The Hotel was not busy and Alexei was kind enough to upgrade me to a spectacular room on the third floor with a balcony which had commanding views of Kazbegi, Gergeti Church, and the towering Kazbeti mountain in the distance. The Hotel is a short walk uphill from the bus station (no more than 3 minutes) and an easy walk to the downtown restaurants and grocery stores. Prices at this Hotel are reasonable and the views, rooms, common terraces, and sitting areas are of a very high standard. I cannot recommend a stay here strongly enough and would absolutely return if I ever find myself visiting Kazbegi again in the future.

The hotel is located near the center of Stepantsminda, just a few minutes upwards the hill. This is very convenient since most hotels are located higher, and one needs to walk a steep way upwards to get there. Besides, the hotel has a nice terrace with a great view towards the Kazbegi mountain. The hosts are a family couple, very friendly and outgoing. The hotel itself is lovely designed and well furnitured. Guests can order a breakfast but need to say it in advance as the host herself is cooking. I haven't tried it myself but other guests said that it was delicious.

The room was spacious and convenient with a large balcony. The host was friendly. There were extra zones for having rest both outside and inside.

The toilet flush did not work and instead of changing my room.. I was handed a bucket to fill water and pour in the flush every time. Only 1 old lady was available most.of the time who tried to help but sadly she couldn't.
