It's the 3rd time I've booked here, it's in the best part of town! close to cool bars, shops... The staff are great.... comfortable beds , super clean and meet interesting people ;)

A team of staff members ,at least 3 well treated staff would make the place a little more active and friendly. Info about affordable transportation, places to shop and eat.

Breakfast was extra. The location was optimal, quaint and convenient.

There were cockroaches and BEDBUGS!! They did not offer me another room (or a refund) when I reported the issue at first. Only after 4 nights and several complaints did they offer me another apartment, where the lights where broken and where extremely pornographic photos (tied-up naked women) were hanging on the walls. When I reported the broken lights, they wanted to make me leave the hostel on Sunday evening at 9 pm for "constant moaning". Later, they lied to me and said that my room had been treated by pest control, whereas in fact, no one had come and I again had to sleep in a room with bedbugs. The hostel owner and the staff on site were incredibly rude and I had the worst experience of my life there.

The three levelled bunk beds were pretty terrifying. To get to the third level you have to be in good fitness and some people may just not be able to climb there. The bed itself was very shaky, and while getting up to the bed woke up other people sleeping. Despite the fact that there were lockers with bed numbers the member of the staff told us that if there is one free with a key we can take it. We had one small locker for two people. The travellers coming after us had no lockers at all. With nowhere to keep your luggage the hostel didn't feel safe at all. Theoretically, the main door to the building required entering the code but in practice the door was always open. The door to the hostel directly was open as well, so anyone could get in at any time. There was one bathroom for 14 people. There was a separate room with a toilet with a not working lock. Also, the room was stinking so badly that we preferred to use the toilet in McDonald's nearby. The guy that was supposed to welcome us was rude with an attitude. He was sitting on the couch with his phone and was not helpful at all. When we passed by him, he didn't care and started speaking to us only when he heard us calling the support. Then we kept on seeing him sleeping in the hostel either on the common couch or on one of the beds without a mattress. Once a girl came to a hostel in the morning and he was sleeping, so she couldn't check in and was waiting for him to wake up. The whole hostel was stinking very badly. I know the hostel is not responsible for the guests staying there, but still there was an alcoholic who smelled very very badly. He kept on walking with bare feet that looked disgusting showing that he had some medical issues.

The location was good, close to the metro. There was good wifi. Every bed had a socket. There was AC.

No Kitchen, only a Microwave but for me was o.k., because i dont cook you have to pay 5 GEL to rent a Towel only one Toilet and Bathroom

Checking in can be a little tricky, especially if you don't Check in at the right time between 2p-4.30pm or 6pm-10pm There is facilities for coffee making, you don't need a kitchen in Georgia , everyone eats out ,the food is delicious and cheap. But maybe a microwave would be a good idea . But compared to other hostels in this excellent area it is by far the best!

Absolutely fabulous & value for money! Great location, staff are very kind , lots of cool people staying. I have stayed in several hostels in Tbilisi and this is definitely in the top 3. I was told the bad scores were from people who was kicked out from smoking inside!! Has a lovely smoking balcony , TV screen and very chilled communal living space ..

The management endeavours to solve any problems as soon as they arrive. The surrounding area in the old city is very charming. The bathrooms are clean and there is rarely any queue.

I stayed at this place for five days and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I met incredible people with whom I could talk about everything. It was truly vital and enriching experience, all at a very affordable price. Really spirit of travel! A special shoutout to the manager, Ika, who went above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. He truly deserves all the praise. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Tbilisi!

The check in process could be smoother But if you pay attention to the directions that are provided to you it is pretty self explanatory

The Ambience I was lucky I stayed here for 1 day and they had a nice party downstairs at the bar which was a lovely experience The hostel was clean cozy and beautiful It is unfortunate that I have to leave Otherwise I would have stayed for much longer

- Only one toilet and one bathroom/laundry room for over 10 people (but considering the price, I could compromise) - No English sign that says the building belongs to this hostel thus unless you know Georgian language, it'd be hard to find (but the host will give you the instruction video upon request - took 20-30mins for me to get this in my case)

- The owner let me in the property even thought it was 8AM on the checkin day! - Location was alright, around 10-15 min walk to a huge bus stop & metro station. - Unbelievable price

I felt so at home in this hostel that I extended my stay. The bed is confortable. The location is really convinient, a nice walk to the center and all kind of transportations close by. The staff is soooo friendly. The hostel is clean and confy. I had a great stay at Ambience Hostel, thank you.

Hostel is new and spacious. Very clean unlike the other hostels in the area. Excellent value for money. Very close to the center of old tbilisi. Totally recommended.
