Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainIn my room the air conditioner doesn't work properly, it was always the same temperature, near 24-26 degrees, even if I put it on 17.. I was speaking with manager about it. He says he didn't know why it happens but can give me another room on the next time. This hotel it's far from everything, from shops and restaurants, from beaches ecc.. so for everything need to take taxi or buses. from my window was very noisy because there was construction works going there.
It was one of the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. Everything was new. They just opened recently. Good wifi, hot water. Good table. And it has a black out curtain! Good to sleep.( But strange thing that it's only one curtain and it doesn't close the window completely)) there is a shared kitchen in hotel.

Czech RepublicThe location is quite far from city center. Also the shower has no curtains so the water goes everywhere.
The room was great, it had 2 balconies and it was quite comfortable. Also the staff was very welcoming. I especially appreciated that the shop was so close (in the same building).

ChinaLocation is far from the city center; basically nothing around the hostel, and you will have to take a taxi to get around ; week soundproof, I was sleeping next to some young people and they were quite loud
Very clean bedsheets with good smell; staff was helpful and friendly(a young gentleman helped to carry my heavy luggage to fifth flr, thank you again); very quiet neighborhood; around 15mins walk there’s a beach where seems only the local people would go, and I enjoyed it very much, across the road is the railway station ; downstairs there’s a well-stocked little market

United KingdomThere is no proper blackout, so light sleepers are advised to bring eye masks. There were no hangers in the wardrobe or hooks for hanging clothes up - or even chairs to drape them over. Whilst the station was a fairly short walk away, it is not an easy or pleasant walk, as you have to cross two railway lines and then a dual carriageway where vehicles are travelling very fast and do not stop for pedestrians, even on a marked crossing. This was particularly difficult once you reach the station which is in a building back on the other side of the dual carriageway which looks more like a Casino! Booking trains ahead is essential as if you leave it until the evening before you want to travel, the tickets are often sold out and you have to take a bus instead. The cost is the same, but the buses take at least two hours longer, so 6-7 hours.
This is a family business and the owners, and their son who spoke good English, did everything to make my short stay pleasurable. It was easy to find, just off the bay beyond Batumi city centre, and nearby is the new station as well as places where you can book buses, about 10 minutes walk away. There is a small well-stocked shop next door, and about 5 minutes walk towards Batumi city are a fish restaurant and a Georgian food restaurant, also owned by BST holiday, although I did not eat there. The guest house is in a quiet residential district and there were comfortable beds, bedside tables and a basic wardrobe.

AustraliaNo curtain so a bit bright for sleeping, and there were some bugs and ants. If you have a car it won't be a problem but I struggled a little bit with the location as it is not walkable to the city centre - use Bolt for taxi's.
Very nice room, clean with comfortable beds. And a nice view. Plus the owners were very nice & helpful & very communicative on WhatsApp. Bathroom was clean, good hot water. Good wifi. Nice to have a fridge and a little balcony & the rooftop, though I didn't use it because of the rain. Good price too.

KazakhstanRatio price/quality is more than great. We were staying here for just 1 night, but I would like to stay much longer. Service and staff are excellent. View from the rooftop is amazing from all sides. And also a bus stop in 2 minutes by walk and 10-15 minutes by bus and you are in the center of batumi. The next day, we went to the center of batumi to the orbi buildings and rented an apartment there, but the thing is that we regretted it. the BST Hotel is much better, cleaner, more comfortable, and more convenient than the other options around batumi, even if compared with places that are two times expensive. Big room with own mini kitchen inside the room, and great working air conditioner. I didn't take photos of the room and buildings itself, but I took a photo of the view from the rooftop, which I attached to this review

GeorgiaI had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff and the owner were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home and well cared for throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed — perfect for a peaceful and relaxing time. The terrace was a highlight, offering both stunning sea views and a lovely view of the city. It was the ideal place to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. Another big plus is that the hotel is pet-friendly, which made our stay even more special. Everything was well-organized and thoughtfully managed. I truly appreciate the warmth and effort from the entire team. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and breathtaking views. I would definitely love to return again!❤️

United KingdomMaybe nice to have a kettle in room.
Excellent value for room. Super handy for train station either by walking or taxi. We had fab corner room on top floor with great views and balconies. Just to point out, the lift was not working. The young staff member who greeted us was incredibly helpful and nice. Beds comfortable, TV, aircon, fridge, kitchen downstairs to use with more fridges and coffee/tea. Washing machine available. Also a very well stocked supermarket right below hotel.
