How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewgreat staff, cleanliness, comfort, amazing views. The restaurant serves amazing food. And the swimming pool is excellent. It's also very close to many sights, including Gremi and Nekresi.
The hotel was great. It's just that the final 10-minute drive to the hotel is a bit rough and not very friendly for sedans or hatchbacks. But that's not a big deal overall.

Verified reviewThe quiet atmosphere
Even though the walls are quite big the ventilation and doors brought even the slightest noise in the room. I could hear even the normal conversation from the neighbors, also I was not lucky enough to have good neighbors.

Verified reviewThis is a lovely option for a vineyard stay, we had a very relaxed night and the food was superb, really good!!! A great spot to relax in wine region
Only perhaps niggle is getting moved out the bar area at midnight when we still had wine to drink and it was raining so could not sit on terrace but, a shame, also would be nice to have a kettle and cups in the room to make tea in the morning

Verified reviewPool was really nice (but cold!!). Rooms were nice as well, as was all the food and wine, which were all a reasonable price.
It is in the middle of the vines, which is lovely but it means that’s it’s down a long gravel track which is poorly (and incorrectly from the main road!) signposted. Fine if you’re in a rental, but not one to bring your own nice car down!

Verified reviewThis property is situated in the middle of a vineyard, very quiet & secluded.
It wasn’t clear in the description but the winery is situated around 1.5km from the main road and the only access is via an unmade road! It is also badly signposted so it took us around half an hour to find - fortunately we didn’t arrive in the dark or get a puncture!!!

Verified reviewWe rested in this wonderful place in August 2024. We got unforgettable emotions. Everyone who gets here will be able to enjoy the silence, beautiful views of Georgian nature, wonderful sunsets, drink natural, delicious wine from grapes grown here, try delicious dishes of local cuisine. Hospitable hosts will meet you and show you the process of making wine. The rooms are clean and spacious. We will be happy to come again and recommend visiting this place to everyone.

Verified reviewThe location of the chateau is simply amazing - a couple of kilometers from the main road, quiet, peaceful - far from the noise. It's perfect for escaping the city. Looks like a castle from the outside, with terraces overlooking the surroundings. Just a few rooms - feels very private, with breathtaking views all around, as the building sits in the middle of a beautiful vineyard. Plenty of fresh air, mountain view, and a pool. The dishes in the restaurant were pleasant to try, plus the in-house wine made of the grapes grown on the premises. Overall, we enjoyed our stay so much. We visited in August and are willing to come again in winter time.
The place has a lot of potential, and we saw some extra facilities were added along our stay: billiards and table tennis in a separate building. Hopefully by our next visit everything will be finalized.

Verified reviewSTAFF: Alex, key person here who makes you feel at home, no doubt also thanks to the behind-the-scenes work of the whole team STRUCTURE: The facility is new and the concept is designed with relaxation and wine lovers in mind. They are developing to make people aware of the beauty of the place. Spacious and well-kept rooms. Staff ready to meet every guest's needs. Peace, tranquillity and light-heartedness are the main ingredients that make this facility unique. We will gladly return one day. RELAXATION AREA (pool and garden): The pool area is something truly unique and although the structure is full, there is enough place for everyone. Next to the pool area is the rustic-style bar/restaurant, which is very well maintained and thought out. Alex and the kitchen team are on hand to prepare delicious cocktails and truly excellent menus. We recommend dining on the terrace of the "Château", where the view of the vineyards is something fantastic. WINE LOVERS: As an accommodation facility that also offers home-produced wines, and as a lover of European wine culture, I must admit that I was impressed by the types of wine they offer, and a spectacular tasting room will soon be in operation. Maybe they should think about a special wine cooler fridge in the restaurant area, to keep constant temperature of those fantastic red wines.
ACCESSIBILITY and MOBILITY: Beware that if you don't have your own car, travel is difficult...So think in advance about renting a car in the neighbouring city, or using a good taxi driver (below in the photos you have the business card of a good taxi driver), so we were able to visit and be more mobile and flexibles. In the future, bicycles are planned for guests - great idea!!! The concept of the facility is under development and there are certain details of the facility still to be finalised.
