Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelMy room facing the street got a lot of traffic noise. The entire hotel feels run down and the cleaning wasn't great. The pool was in the basement (no windows) and although it was clean, the area smelled like mildew. I wouldn't stay here again - the location wasn't near anything interesting; it would have been better to stay near the walkable old city, which also has kosher options.
I stayed over the weekend and loved the friendly atmosphere, where guests hung out with each other. Staff was friendly, but didn't speak great English. The food was good.

United Arab EmiratesFirst of all it was an Israelite hotel and we went there they told us there is no food serve in the hotel because of their festival. We went for breakfast the next morning there were little or no variety to eat and the staffs were looking at us like we came from another planet. The bathroom tap was broken we called for it to be fixed to no avail, we ordered room service for drinking water and no one showed up. Please do not send me to such a hotel again, I always book with Booking.com but this was my worst experience. The worst part was the way the staffs were looking at us like there have never seen people of colour and even my 6 years old son noticed. We left the hotel and started somewhere else for 2 days and then came back there on our last day as it was close to airport for our 6am flight. Worst Experience ever
Nothing, from their services to facility to racial profiling were all bad

NetherlandsThis hotel is mainly for Jewish guests, especially Israeli Jews. For me, as someone who paid a significantly higher price for a pleasant trip with my spouse, it was extremely painful and frustrating to be treated according to Jewish religious laws. One day, there was no breakfast at all, and on other days, the breakfast was always the same—just eggs and vegetables, with nothing else available. The coffee machines were always broken, and once food items ran out, they were never replenished. Additionally, the hotel staff was not very friendly, and no one spoke English. At the last moment, the hotel informed us that there was no shuttle service, meaning we had to find our own way to the hotel by taxi. The hotel is very old and overused. The bathrooms in the rooms have serious issues and are full of limescale buildup. The doors and windows let in a lot of noise and are not soundproof at all. The internet is extremely weak, making it almost impossible to use properly, so my spouse and I had to rely on mobile data from SIM cards we purchased. The spa, pool, and sauna were in terrible condition. The pool floor was damaged, one sauna was completely out of order, and the other worked intermittently. The entire hotel felt old, run-down, and far from being a pleasant place to stay. Additionally, the location is very remote, far from all the main attractions or places you might want to visit. I would only recommend this hotel if the price were two dollars per night—anything more than that is absolutely not worth it. This was our first and last time staying here. We don’t care whether the food is halal or kosher; what matters is that I paid for a five-star European hotel experience but received the service of a one-star guesthouse in Bangladesh. I strongly do not recommend this hotel.

LatviaThe smell of the food everywhere.. We stayed on the 4th floor and the smell there was very strong.. This made us to avoid the hotel, we came back as late as possible just for a sleep. Therefore we did not use also a swimming pool or sauna, also did not eat in the second floor restaurant, basically because of the smell everywhere. 1st floor cafe used one time on arrival, personal does not speak any other languages exept georgian and menu also in georgian. We paid 30euro for 2 hachapuri and one Giorgi salad. First class restaurant in the city centre main dishes was cheaper.. Sorry, this hotel need to work on it a lot if it wants to return the customers...
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

IsraelThe meat resteraunt had some difficulties. Specifically they didn't have the option of tap water, they also need to consider getting a rice cooker as the rice was sticky. And also they should use less salt, I'm not sensitive to this, and even for me the food was pretty salty.
We enjoyed the large comfortable room, were happy that they supplied us an extra blanket and extra pillows. The breakfast was exceptional!
