Very clean and big rooms. You can have breakfast and dinner in beautiful balcony with a great view. Ela herself is such an amazing and sweet woman, I definitely would stay at hers more days. They also have horses and offer the horse tour till Shkara hiking path. We had amazing time there, definitely recommend.

I would like to spend more days in Ushguli and in this giesthouse

The Guest house is inside the village over a mountain river and Immersed in nature. The rooms are bigger and you can find everything you need. I felt like in my family Ela and their sons are are extremely kind, friendly and immediately put you at ease.

Only one negative thing, that we had to get bikes but we didn’t.

The owner treated us very nicely, so we felt welcomed. Breakfast was fantastic! Beds were super comfy & we had all the facilities that you could need.

I don’t know where to start..Our stay at Elas was absolutely amazing. Ela and her mother Lena are such welcoming, warm-hearted women and we felt like home from the first time (despite at home we have to do the cooking and the dishes and here Ela took care of everything). The homemade food was a dream! Thank you Ela for all this delicious freshly baked breads, soups and the fresh vegetables. Every evening we sat together in front of the oven with tea and relaxed from a day of hiking or horse riding. Even if we couldn’t understand each others language, we could communicate. We showed pictures of our families back home, of our experiences in the mountains in Georgia and we could understand each other. And we tried to learn a few Georgian words, which ended in a lot of laughing together. Even the place I miraculous. From the window in our room we could see straight into the mountains, we could see cows and horses on the fields and the river Enguri. Big recommendation for Elas Guesthouse! We already miss being around her and her mother.

The village is located in a beautiful place. The family room with terrace was large and provided an excellent view. The host was very kind, the food was perfect, at any time we wanted. It is not a 5* hotel, but we will remember this place for a long time.

Everything was perfect, we had a great time at this Apartment. Rooms are cozy, the breakfast is very good and you get more than anyone can eat. Luca and His family are very helpful and If you Like to Ride a horse they will arrange an amazing Trip for you! The people complaining in some of the reviews are people that will always find something to complain. For this price you get a Beer and a Toast in Europe and thats it.

The location is great because it’s really peaceful and you can observe daily life of villagers. The family is remarkably welcoming and the lady prepares delicious meals. Here you can experience genuine Georgian hospitality. Wish I could stay longer. I highly recommend this guesthouse. It’s a bit hidden, behind the other guesthouse Argo, but easy to find, especially if you ask someone.

Beautiful quiet clean place with very kindest family.This is our 3rd time to Ushguli trip and finally we find best hostel.This is not main village but only 5-10min by walk.The main town is busy with tourists and many cars. For the first two days,we lived in main village and moved. It was best decision.Here is Only the sound of the river and the chirping of birds. Desks and chairs perfect for remote workers are set in a beautiful view. Network is 4G !!About Food ,You can order mother delicious homemade Georgia food.You can order every time.Homemade juice is also excellent! I only speak English, but no problem. Girl and boy can speak English and solved all our problems! That's why I changed the schedule and extended stay here. I Hope you book here and enjoy real Ushguli life!!

Shared bathroom not on the same floor, but that was something what we have sort of expected.

Very warm and welcoming landlords, trying to do their best for guests. We like the quiet place, gorgeous views from terrace and delicious traditional home made food. Very convenient location aside from main tourists route. Comfort is up to local standard. We kept luggages here and walked around village. We recommend Ela, this place is charming!

Ela offers a single room within a family house. The bathroom and kitchen area is the family area as well. The room door was not able to close. We were offered a rich dinner, with Chicken salad, noodle salad and rice. Overall way too much food but not the best we tasted for far on the way.

The room is almost out. Windows were open and insects could freely come into the room. The bathroom and toilet were outside of the room. It was a little inconvenient. When we go to the house, we have to go through unclean road and the house is located at a little far place if you go on foot. So you don’t have to go out after dark.

The family was good. The mother and grand mother don’t speak English but tried to communicate with hospitality. I love them. And the scenery from the balcony was good.
