Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandIt was quiet, we were there off season.
New tall building with a view, pool, bar. We were before the season - the village is still extinct. The facility for this reason did not offer breakfast, we were informed. Close to the beach. The owner very friendly and helpful. I recommend in high season!

Hotel Estinia is amazing! We arrived very late at 12am, but the staff was so kind and made check-in easy. The rooms were super clean and tidy, and everything felt fresh and comfortable. The team’s friendly service made us feel welcome and relaxed. It was a great stay, and we’d definitely come back! Perfect for anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and welcoming hotel. Highly recommend it!

GeorgiaI really liked everything, the only thing that didn’t is the breakfast,it has the dishes that most people eat at dinner, for 8:30 it’s too early to have those salads, rice pudding or other. However, for some people it’s a good choice and a source of energy
The hotel has a perfect location,as it is close to markets, cafes, restaurants, bus stop and the main spot- the sea🙌 Staff is very friendly, polite and always caring for guests. The room had a mountain and pool view,it was really amazing . There is a cafe in the yard and gives wide all sorts of delicious food

LatviaWe loved everything - especially the pool area (we couldnt get the kids out). Its a great choice for family holidays - sea is just 2 minutes away - across the road (with shower, changing cabin and toilets), good location - lots of shops (Nikora, Daily and smaller shops), plenty of cafes. Breakfast buffet had lots of options for every taste. Room was clean and good equipped with all necessary things (conditioner, tv, fridge, kettle, closet, toiletries - shower gels, slippers, toothbrushes). Bathroom had rain shower and good water pressure. The staff was very attentive and sweet. Overall very good value for money, strongly recommend.

ArmeniaThese aren't complaints, just a few things to note and to be aware of prior to you visit! 😊 ☑️ The hotel is a bit far from the city center. There are small shops around it, mainly selling sweets, soda, water, and chips. For fruits and vegetables, you need to go to the market, and for dairy products, to larger supermarkets in the center. ☑️ If you're with family or don't plan to hang out by the pool in the evening, ask for a room that doesn't face the pool. Otherwise, it might be difficult to sleep due to the evening music and socializing. ☑️ The beach has no sun loungers or umbrellas. They might appear later in the season, but for now, there is no shade, as it is a typical wild city beach. There are many jellyfish in the sea in early June. ☑️ There are many street dogs in the city, including near the hotel. Keep this in mind if you're traveling with young children. Recommendations for the Hotel: Breakfast Buffet: 👉🏽 The breakfast buffet felt more like lunch. It included several types of salads (vinaigrette, Olivier, cabbage), vegetarian pilaf, feta or cheese, olives, boiled eggs, buckwheat porridge, boiled pasta, boiled sausages, cookies or sweet pie, bread and butter, tea, and instant coffee. Sometimes there was cottage cheese and sour cream, a couple of times potato patties or French toast, and once there were pancakes. A few times there was oatmeal, but the pot was behind the counter, so we didn't notice it right away. Our suggestions: install a coffee machine with real coffee, add more dairy products (yogurts or cereal with milk), and include more natural sausages and ham. Please make pancakes more often, as children love them. 🥞 👉🏽Room Lighting: Please provide small bedside lamps in the rooms. Without them, there was no way to have localized lighting. If a child was sleeping, I couldn't read a book because the main light had to be turned off.
The hotel is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from the sea (you need to cross the road). Communication with the administrator Anna is quick via WhatsApp. The hotel offers a free transfer from the train station. Anna is very hospitable, friendly, and always ready to help, even assisting us with calling a taxi 👌🏽. A significant plus of the hotel is the heated pool with sun loungers. There is a breakfast buffet, and you can also have homemade lunches (soup, cutlets, mashed potatoes) at the on-site café (Nelli, your meals are delicious, thank you so much! 😘). You can also order Georgian dishes like khinkali. Laundry service is available for 5 lari. Room cleaning is on request. You can join organized excursions with Sergey, but we explored on our own, taking the bus to the Dendropark, Music Park, Petra Fortress, and Batumi. The room had comfortable beds and was clean. Some reviews mention a sewage smell, which we noticed only a couple of times and it didn't bother us at all. Our balcony faced the sea. The city center is about 5 km away, and we always walked there. However, you can also take a bus or minibus. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, just a two-minute walk to the sea, and the affordability is unbeatable. The food was delicious, the hosts were incredibly hospitable, and the room service was excellent, making our vacation comfortable and enjoyable. ❤️

IsraelThe on ramp to get into the hotel is very stip, needed to get baby out of the stroller to walk up or down. All bathrooms had a constant smell of sewage and it wasn't repaired 😞 not sure it can be fixed. Some of the bathrooms were missing a shower door.
The hotel is located across the street from the beach, a 3 minute walk only! Has a good size pool! We had 3 rooms, one needs to ask for room service in the morning to have the room cleaned in the late afternoon, which was a bit inconvenient but when it was cleaned, they did a fabulous job! The hotel has an elevator, which was a big plus for us because of the stroller. Rooms were good size.

UkraineIt was an amazing stay! Rooms are cleaned well, with heating which works perfect. We enjoyed cafe near the swimming pool which is closed from wind at winter time; it is very comfortable to sit there with friends or watch football match. Also you can buy there very good home wine. Host is very attentive to each guest and super friendly. Definately will come here again.

United StatesI'm an American from California; best hotel I've visited in a while! This was surprisingly good. The hotel is full of Russians and Ukrainians fleeing the war right now, but the hosts of the hotel were very kind. The main older guy, Gocha, makes his own wine and often serves it out at the mini bar for free or for cheap prices, although he doesn't speak English; the sweet red wine is very good, similar to wines I drink back in California. The female host is also very gracious and speaks Russian, Ukrainian and English. She was very helpful to my friend and I in translating and helping us around. The hotel also has a cafe restaurant in the orange building in front of the hotel; they serve Georgian food along with some parody attempts at pizza, but it wasn't too bad. We went there almost every day; the chicken soup is very good! They have two cats that I believe belong to the hotel owners, a bigger male and a smaller calico female. Both of them were very friendly to us and the male loves being cuddled. We've taken to calling him "George", and the female cat "Georgina". The hotel in November is like $15-16 per night, although with Booking.com it was like $13.75 a night. In peak season during summer or late spring, I believe it's probably around $20 a night, though with Booking.com discounts it could be $15-16 maybe. They also have a decent sized pool that is about five to six feet deep, and from what I've heard, it can be heated. Next to the pool is a mini bar and a TV and some heaters, tables and chairs, and you can apparently order food from the cafe to be taken down to you at the mini bar while you enjoy your drinks. In spring or summer, yeah, this town of Kobuleti would be great to visit, and this hotel probably the best place. Very close to the beach, maybe a minute walk, close to some shops, close to a school, and a 30 minute leisurely drive to Batumi (although the drivers are terrible, watch out).
