The room was a little small and the air conditioning wasn’t very strong.

The decor was fantastic and it was a very beautiful hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the spa was a lovely way to relax in an evening.

The AC in the room is a bit old and loud. The venue is a bit difficult to access because of all the tourists, but once inside, it is a little haven.

A gorgeous hotel, which feels like a time capsule. The room was very comfortable, and we really liked that they provide robes for the spa. The spa includes a hot tub/jacuzzi, a sauna, a hammam and a cold bucket shower. Perfect after a long day of driving. Good breakfast.

Areas for improvement: 1. The breakfast was basic, and could benefit from more variety and options. There is no elevator (lift) in the hotel, which could be inconvenient for guests with mobility issues or heavy luggage. But to be honest, the crew carries the bags to the room.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely beautiful, situated in a great area that made getting around easy and enjoyable. The staff were always cheerful, helpful, and welcoming — every request I made was handled promptly and professionally. The hotel is also very clean and well-maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a royal suite, which added a special touch to the experience. What stood out most was the hotel's traditional and heritage-inspired design, giving the place a unique charm and authentic atmosphere. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay with a cultural touch

They didn't renew the food a lot during breakfast.

The staff were very good. The location is excellent as it is less than a minute walk to the park entrance. The room was comfortable. The private spa area for an hour each day was very relaxing. Breakfast was delicious.

I recently stayed at Golden Tulip, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. While the hotel itself is stunning – a beautifully preserved historic building with modern comforts, a fantastic spa, and what might be the best omelette I’ve ever had – what truly made my stay unforgettable was the staff. During my trip, my rental car developed an oil leak, and I was initially at a loss. But the hotel staff immediately stepped in to help. They arranged a truck to transport the car to a garage in a larger town nearby, and the security guard personally helped coordinate with the rental company. Not only that, he came with me on the 35+ km trip to the garage and stayed to ensure everything was sorted and the car was fixed properly. This level of care and support goes far beyond what I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. The famous Georgian hospitality at its best. Highly recommended.

Beautiful old heritage house with a gorgeous courtyard for eating morning breakfast and having a drink! In a very high footfall tourist area immediately next to the stunning Central Park but had zero noise concerns and the internal courtyard was a lovely reprieve from the bustle of the street. Lovely having a room with light from two sides and waking up to the dappled light coming through the trees. Staff were super friendly and accommodating :-) fantastic breakfast spread as well with a mix of Georgian and European options - of course we had Georgian which was great!

Rooms were quite dark. The hotel needs repairs, eg. the deck which should be a featutof the building is deteriorating badly in places. Cracked tiles and dodgy wiring in the bathroom also needs some work.

Good for a night if you're curious about Borjomi. Its probably the most interesting building in Borjomi and a great effort has been made to keep as many original elements as possible. Spa facilities were great, you book the whole complex: small spa pool and two saunas for an hour at a time during which you have exclusive use of the area.

Beautiful building, right near the entrance to the park. Decent breakfast. The rooms are not soundproof but we knew that going in and it’s expected in a historic building. So, just bring some earplugs with you

The room needs a bit of attention...

Really nice hotel in a nice location. i was helped with the parking on arrival. we enjoyed the free sauna and Spa and decided to get the extra massage which one of us was delighted with and the other not so much.
