Great location just a short walk from the main drag. Very friendly and accommodating host. The shared kitchen is great along with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, particularly from the yard.

Location is quiet and convenient. You have kitchen to use. Room has Kazbegi view. Hostess lady is polite and helpful. Well equipped shower room with hot water. You can hang your clothes outdoors to dry them.

The lady host was incredibly kind and sweet, always checking in to see if I needed anything even if she wasn’t there. Her warmth and hospitality truly made the experience even better. Location is great - the marshrutka stand and supermarket are nearby. Beautiful view from the room. Owner is nice and responsive, I even got to do my laundry for no extra charge. Would recommend.

The location was very accessible to the centre, restaurants and a Spar supermarket was nearby. The Marshrutka stand and all the other tour organisers offices were nearby too!

Sound scan travel through the door to the common area in the morning if the other guests are up early (or late). But super quiet in other times.

The host were very communicative and we were able to keep our luggage a bit longer before and after the stay. The room itself was basic, but fairly clean with a common kitchen and fridge. Very central close to the bus stop, groceries shop and many restaurants. Also close to Mountain Freak which made the trips to Juta and Truso valley very easy to do. Also the common courtyard is stunning in good weather. You can see the Trinity church and Mount kazbegi right behind it. Wow.

Onoy problem we faced was transporting our luggage from guest house to city center, as there was no taxi available. So we had to walk with heavy luggage and due to snow on road it was bit slippery on slopes and were a bit helpless.

Guest house was clean and view was amazing. Host was not at the house but approachable on WhatsApp. Restaurants and Mushrutka stop are 200mts away.

The weather was not great when I visited... but that is Mother Nature's fault!

Chavchavadze 23 was very easy to find on a street parallel to the main road going through town. I believe the owners/family live in the adjacent house and upstairs in the house where the guests stay. The guests use the rooms on the first floor. As Stepantsminda was slightly chillier than some of the other locations I visited in Georgia, I thought the house was kept warm and cozy. From the location, it is easy to reach some food markets, restaurants, an ATM, and the marshrutky station.

My partner and I stayed at Guest House Chavchavadze N23 for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The house itself was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic. Everything was perfect! Location-wise, it was close to everything, you could see nice view of kazbegi mountain from the yard! The host was such a nice lady, she welcomed me even I felt that it was truly my home. She was very responsive on my request and was very easy to communicate thru whatsapp when she was not around. I would love to come back if I come back to town, will highly recommend any one who is going to Kazbegi! You will love it

Shower and toilet area is all in the same few square meters, meaning the entire bathroom gets wet when showering. But that problem is manageable :)

Rooms in combination with the shared areas (kitchen and living room, including washing machine) provide all that is needed as a good base for exploring the mountains by foot :) The owner is friendly and helpful!

Superb location.. Less than 5 mins from local bakery, mashrutka bus stand, spar supermarket, several restaurants like good food. Few more mins and you reach the start of the gergeti trinity trail, St Elias trail.. Ample opportunities to walk in different directions. Just choose your path. To top it all, home has gorgeous views of mount kazbegi and gergeti trinity. Even from our room. Room is small but cozy. Had a good night sleep. Clean bathrooms and sheets. Common kitchen has everything- kettle, stove, necessary cutlery and washing machine. That was so helpful since we are on a longer trip. Overall it has everything required by a traveler/ backpacker
