The location among the hills by the sea was picturesque. There were shops & restaurants a short walk away & both Batumi & the Botanic Gardens were easily reached by either bus ( no. 10) or marshrutka. The homestay hosts were friendly & helpful.

The homestay was difficult to locate because there was no nameplate.

The view is amazing. I'm glad I had a good camera because these photos are going in my goat album. Very few mosquitos. The staff was very professional in communicating beforehand what to expect, namely that my bathroom was separate. So many little details that they handled really well.

Google maps does not have their access road, power and WiFi was unreliable, but it's still one of my favorite guest houses in the world.

This was one of the nicest accommodations I have ever had. The room was bigger than it looks at the photos. The views to the sea (especially on the sunset) are just wonderful. We had a good peaceful sleep. And the bed clothes! They were all adorned with lovely fine embroidery. The room walls are covered with majestic ornaments like in a palace. The staff was also nice. There is a 5 minutes walk to the Makhinjauri beach where you can have a good swim. A bus stop where you can take a city bus to Batumi, and Makhinjauri train station that has a train connection with Kutaisi airport and Kutaisi city twice a day are also close (ca. 10 minutes walk). 3 supermarkets and a couple of restaurants are the same close.
