How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.

The acommodation is like at grandmas house, some may like the old feel, for some it may be too dank.
Dear guest, exactly it is renovated Grandmas house with the style and amotions from the past, and we are proude to preserve our family history and warm atmosphere of traditional hospitality for that our guests who realy appreciate these warmness and treat. But the peolple with other preferences can always find cold concrete wals with no history and amotions somewhere else. It is not about us. Just for info for our future and past thankful guests. You took a spacious family room for 4 persons with brand new private bathroom for 13.75 euro per person, with tastiest breakfast included in this price... Is it really not effective price? We are small business and we treat every our guest as a family members. Your evaluation makes impact on our small family business and creates our success or failure. In this case thanks to your evaluation it decreased from 9.6 to 9.2... but it is just numbers. We still treat our dearest gusts at 10!

The room was so cozy and beautiful and the owner such a nice and friendly woman, who makes your stay as easy as possible. Verified reviewMy host name was Khatuna. She is very friendly and helpful. She made me stay so enjoyable and comfortable. House location is perfect for a trip to Vashlovani national park. Khatuna speaks good English and she helped me organize a trip everywhere I needed to visit. She cooked delicious meals and had a great variety of options. Everything was better than I expected. I felt welcome and could relax and de-stress.

Verified reviewThis was one of the best guesthouses we have been to in Georgia (and I have to say we travel a lot! ) . Room was spacious, everything clean and working. Khatya was a wonderful host, spoke very good English, extremely helpful, she contacted me on her own, right after I made the booking, asked if we need some advice or recommendations before we even arrived. The real highlight was the meal - both dinner and breakfast. I definitely recommend to have a dinner as well. All the services were for more than reasonable price. I hope we can come again soon. Verified reviewThe greatest and nicest owner. The most delicious food we ate during a 3-week trip to Georgia and Armenia. Beautiful apartment, clean and comfortable. Great place for a visit in Vashlovani Park.
The owner has some rules, most of them are understandable and we were informed at check-in, but the strange thing was that she pointed out to us that there are water limits when we were already bathing - the owner knocked on the door when one of us was in the shower (it should have been also stated at check-in along with other rules). The shower would also take us much less time if we could hang the shower head on something (the holding part was broken). Apart from that, great place and I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, water restrictions do not depend on us, this is such a global problem that has appeared with climate change throughout the world that I simply lost sight of the need to warn that a half-hour bath per person is not welcome and aggravates this global problem. You are absolutely right that you should be warned upon check-in, although most of our guests, as nature lovers, also care about the conservation of natural resources, like us. Let's hope together that the global situation, with a little effort from each of us, will change for the better in the future and let's be grateful that we still have the opportunity to use natural resources almost without restrictions in the present.

Very nice room, delicious breakfast and dinner and the most convenient service, which provides all the information about the sights and tours in Vashlovani, assistance in preparing documents for entry into the park. The very reasonably priced walking tour with wine tasting and lunch was amazing! Highly recommended place.
