Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RussiaLoved everything! Honestly
Absolutely Perfect — our stay at Kamelia Guesthouse was nothing short of magical. I visited with my wife, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Although we arrived quite late in the evening, the lovely couple who owns the guesthouse welcomed us with warmth and hospitality, even preparing us a delicious homemade dinner upon request. It was the perfect start to our stay. The property is absolutely stunning — set against a lush natural backdrop with a large, tranquil garden, and the peaceful presence of chickens and cows roaming nearby. The atmosphere was rustic, authentic, and heartwarming — it felt more like visiting family than staying at a guesthouse. There’s a strong sense of care and love in every corner of this place. Our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, with a private shower and bathroom, which made everything feel convenient and relaxing. In the morning, breakfast was served exactly at the time we had asked, and it was fresh, tasty, and prepared with love. The owner lady was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay — she made us feel truly valued and cared for. Another major highlight: the location is ideal — just a short drive from Martvili Canyon, which made it a perfect base for exploring one of Georgia’s most beautiful natural wonders. We left feeling relaxed, recharged, and full of gratitude. If you’re looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and unforgettable stay in the countryside, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful home in the peaceful countryside, surrounded by nature. Charming hosts provided us with amazing breakfasts, much of the food from their own garden. We only regret that we weren’t able to have dinner at the house because we had other plans.

Such cozy and friendly atmosphere. Both rooms were comfortable with the necessary facilities. The public area was great with a nice view in a pieceflul place. There was a washing machine with cleansers, a hair dryer and a shared refrigerator.

SloveniaA double bed is composed of two single beds which is a bit akward for a couple, but beds are otherwise comfortable.
Very spacious room and bathroom with good shower, friendly owner who showed us his little, garage-like marani (wine cellar). The place is very beautiful with magical large tree in the yard.

GermanyThe property is a little outside the City center. It's not really a negative point but you should have that in mind.
Very friendly and helpful host family, had to communicate via Google Translate but that worked out well. Food was amazing, both breakfast and dinner. Although it was always way too much to finish.

What an amazing and nice family we've met !! They are absolutely fantastic ! Their homemade food is so yummy and fresh from their garden , we loved as much breakfast than dinner. We arrived later than expected in the evening and they kindly prepared a lovely dinner for us , we definitely appreciated that! Their house and garden are gorgeous ! I will definitely come back at any time and without any hesitation. You can park very easily in their property.

Czech RepublicCustomer service and owner behaviour
Unfortunately can’t say anything good. Accommodation doesn’t respect our reservation. They accommodate other group day before us and without any apology that they didn’t have any space left. Place is in the middle of nowhere so zero chance to find something close by.
