The staff could have been nicer when welcoming us even if they didn’t speak English. I believe the place is overpriced for the service provided.

The views were as good as expected. The cottage is very well equipped with a full kitchen. The bath was very nice in the evening.

The cottage was not very well equipped for cooking (e.g., pans and pots etc), and the pillows were not so comfy. Otherwise a great place.

The mountain views are amazing! The staff is super friendly and they make a very good breakfast. The cottage was big and had a lot of light, with a nice small jacuzzi.

There was no Wi-Fi during our stay, which made it a bit difficult to stay connected. Also, the breakfast was the same every day, and on one of the mornings, it was even forgotten. Overall, we really enjoyed our time there, but with a few improvements, it could have been even better.

Everything was great from the beautiful views to the spacious and cozy cottage. The garden was well maintained and added a lovely charm to the place. It was peaceful, relaxing.

Unfortunately the water for the jacuzzi never got warm. The jacuzzi was the reason we chose this place, so not having warm enough water for a bath completely defeated the point of booking the private hut with jaccuzi :(

The huts are very spacious and super comfortable. Very romantic stay for a couple!

There was no dresser or space to store clothes. No mirror and also no muslim shower (shataffa) An iron or steamer would have been helpful for clothes. The pillows were quite hard and could be more comfortable. The glass upstairs in the chalet overlooking the view had some stains, which slightly detracted from enjoying the incredible scenery.

The location is absolutely stunning, offering phenomenal views of the mountains—truly a highlight of the stay. The room had a cozy, The hosts were warm and accommodating The breakfast was good. Far away from the city life.

we had chosen the jacuzzi option but were left rather disappointed as it is more a single/1 person tub with jets… moreover, no more hot water after 2 showers and wifi didn’t work in the evening. overall, not big issues that affected our stay, but still some things to consider :)

I inquired the property in advance about the possibility of card payment, and their response was positive. However, on site they required a cash payment.

Recommend if there was a hot kettle inside the room. Had to go to the dining area frequently as the weather was cold and wanted hit water every now and then.

The location was excellent. Located in the mountain with a good view. The gergati trinity church is only 15 minutes drive away. Breakfast was very simple.

A dresser or somewhere to put clothes would be helpful, we had to keep all of our clothes in our luggage and didn't have an iron. A steamer or iron would be helpful for clothes. The pillows were hard. A small detail, would be to clean the glass that's viewed from upstairs. The view is phenomenal, but there were some stains on the glass, but otherwise everything else was 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I'll start with the most obvious - the views - they were amazing. I woke up every morning, made tea, sat on the couch and got lost looking at the mountains. There were 2 little dogs that are playful but respectful. Breakfast is every morning from 9-10 am - it was delicious. We had a car and there is free parking available. One of the owners was helpful and would open the gate for us to come in and out, thank you! They spoke English and Russian. You can easily walk to a restaurant or grocery store, about a 4 minute drive or a 10 minute walk. The drive to trinity church is only 17 minutes. The bathroom was clean and modem, with good quality toilet paper. The kitchen had everything that you need to cook, including some spices. I was a day late to my check in because I underestimated the drive but they still checked me in the next day.

Market is not nearby not even a small grocery shop. I needed to drink water , i know fresh tap water is available but to fill this from bathroom or toilet is not agreeable. If you are travelling make sure to carry water bottle in advance , as there is no grocery shop neae by and ypu have to fill from bathroom , if you dont have that feeling , then its ok.

Location of the hotel and view from from the hotel just in the lap of mountains .

Guesthouse Elli & Cottages is a very cozy and nice homestay in Kazbegi. The rooms are en suite, and nice. The view from the terrace is facing the Mount Kazbeg, 5044 meters, and the trinity church. Its really nice, and relaxing for your mind. Please take your time to enjoy the nice view and a glass of ice cold Kindzmaruli or Zaperavi, sweet red wine. The host, Elli is a very friendly person, and she makes her best to make us guests feel as home. She speaks good English, Russian and Georgian. The breakfast is home made and really nice and varied. The guest house is a short walk from down town Stephansminda. There you can find restaurants, shops, taxis and wineries. You can also use this place as a base for mountain hiking in the region. Our little group would like to recommend Guesthouse Elli & Cottages for your stay in Kazbegi
