Excellent place to rest after a hard trek! The place is superclean and comfortable and from the courtyard you have a great view to the mountains. The breakfast was also perfect.

Even though it was a very nice guest house, the facilities didn't match the description. The bathroom was shared, not private. And there was no shared kitchen at all- just a kettle.

It was beautiful and clean, very good value of the money.

A minor inconvenience was not so easy to drive acces road

Gesthouse is in incredible place, we had an amazing view from our room. It's very close to beautiful viewpoints both so see the whole town and the valley on the other side. Inside you have everything you need, and even if we didnt pay for breakfast we saw it was excellent and tables were full of food (we kind of now regret not having it 😅). We stayed one night and it was a pleasure.

Heating in room wasn’t really working - it was cold outside.

From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a warm, family-like atmosphere. They were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Food was absolutely amazing.

Everything was perfect

Nora was an amazing host, very accommodating, attentive, we came late for dinner but she gave us amazing Swaneti khachapuri , tasty home made jams etc. The breakfast was tasty and big. The bed was warm and comfortable and we had a good night sleep. She arranged to bring us back to Mestia and was helpful in so many ways. We found that the location was perfect- very close to everything but on a quiet street, overlooking the beautiful mountain. Would recommend anyone to stay there.

The accommodation is located rather at the end of the village, but it takes no more than 10 minutes to get to the taxi or marshrutka station. There are a few bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The hosts are incredibly kind and caring and breakfasts prepared by them are really large and delicious. Everything is prepared from local ingredietnts. The host was so kind to take us for a local holiday. It was a great experience. Thank you!

A sink would be useful in the dining room next to the dishes.

The exterior of the house was ordinary for this location. But inside was very nice. The wooden floor. The owner live down at -1 floor. We ordered the breakfast, which was excellent. (Price 20 GEL per person).

I had a lovely stay at Nora's Guesthouse. Located at the top of Ushguli, you can look onto the Greater Caucasus mountains from the front doorstep on clear mornings, with the monastery in the foreground. The breakfast was fantastic and the best value of all the guest houses I stayed in. It is a true working farm, so the eggs come from the chickens and the cheese from the cows that get milked each evening when they bring themselves home from the mountain pastures. The big black guard dog is super friendly and they have a horse you can rent to take you to the glacier.

Nora is very nice. The accomodation is located in beautiful village Ushguli. Everything is clean, the kitchen is very big and well equiped. The room is also very nice and quiet. All you can hear in the night is the water in the river which is very relaxing.

Nothing Maybe some slippers could be considered for bathroom

Nora is a great host. The property is a simple old house, clean and comfortable as you are at your home. Tea and coffee is free. Dinner and breakfast were great, with a taste of svaneti. Homemade cheese and khachapuri by Nora were really delicious. The location is very nice just in front of Shhkhra summit. She organized marshtutka which came to the door of the guest house. The price is affordable.

A nice walk from the center, nice view of the mountains. Toilet and shower are separate so less waiting and that also means toilet floor is not perpetually wet. Meals ordered are big portions. Nora is sweet and makes the effort to your stay is comfortable. On the morning we are leaving, she took the initiative to pack the leftover and gave it to us for our bicycle ride to Zagaro pass.

You need to ask for a breakfast in a day before.

The guesthouse is in historical building. It is the home of Nora’s family for centuries (since 11 century). If you want to touch the history of Svaneti this guesthouse is what you need. Also we did booking in the last moment and 5 min later Nora accommodated us, which was very good for us.
