Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

We loved the hotel ambience and hospitality from the staff.

TurkeyInternet: The wifi was unstable, with frequent disconnects, but we didn’t report it as we didn’t spend much time in the room.
We chose this hotel for our stay in Tbilisi due to its great location and proximity to key areas, and we are glad we did. Location: The hotel is in a prime spot on Kote Afkhazi Street, the lively heart of the city, with plenty of bars, shops, and 24/7 convenience stores. I’d definitely recommend this over the more expensive hotels near Freedom Square for a more vibrant experience. Breakfast: The buffet was more than enough for us, with a variety of cheeses, olives, jams, eggs, croissants, fruits, and more. If you're looking for international options, you may prefer pricier hotels, but for those who enjoy a good breakfast, this is perfect. Cleanliness: The room was tidied daily, with towels replaced when placed on the floor. Housekeeping was always around, which I thought was great. Water: There’s a water dispenser on every floor, which is a nice touch for refilling bottles. View: The rooms on the higher floors offer stunning views of the Georgian Mother (Kartlis Deda) and Tbilisi TV Tower (Mtatsminda). Room: The room was small but comfortable, and we had no complaints. The sink being in the room was a little unusual, but it wasn’t a major issue. There were no bedside tables, and no disposable slippers, but the minibar was empty, which we appreciated (no worries about extra charges). Staff: The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Communication in English was easy. I do not know whether Turkish, Russian or any other languages are available. Price/Performance: Definitely worth-it. The prices will not be higher further, I hope.

IndiaI think our room was a bit small for 2 people. Wish it was slightly bigger. Having said that, we did take the most basic room since we only needed it for the night so we made do.
I think the location was amazing, the staff was very helpful. We arrived really late at night and the 24 hour help desk/reception was a big help. So kind and accommodating. Also, the price point was great since we only needed it for a night.

LebanonWe enjoyed our stay at Ibis Styles Old Tbilisi. The hotel is new and nice. Our room was clean, spacious, and beautiful, and the highlight was the big balcony that has an amazing view. The location was perfect. We walked to many attractions, and there are plenty of beautiful restaurants and churches around us. However, the attitude of some employees wasn't up to the Accor standards. When we arrived at the hotel, our room had only one pair of slippers and one bathrobe, and no toiletries were provided throughout our stay for one week such as shower cap, lotion, cotton buds, toothbrush, etc. which you could find at a 3-star hotel, let alone a 4-star one. Only liquid soap and conditioning shampoo bottles hung on the walls. The employee told us that they are an eco-friendly hotel, which doesn't justify putting 1 pair of slippers and 1 bathrobe. And instead of fixing the mistake by sending someone to our room with the missing items, he asked us to go to the reception to get them and then the next day, when the towels were missing, another employee asked us again to go to the reception to get them. This is unacceptable from a 4-star chain hotel. Noting that the problem isn't about going down to the reception but the expected service from a 4-star hotel. We definitely recommend this hotel, but some improvements must be made in the operations department to get a 10/10 score.

Czech RepublicThe breakfast could be served on ground floor instead of -1 and it could be more varied.
The rooms were modern and clean. Hotel is located centrally, just 5-10 minutes from all main attractions. The breakfast is good. The staff is very hospitable and helping. I want to point out Georgii who helped us with local recommendations and was super friendly. Overall great value for money.

KuwaitThe hotel is sparkly clean, bright, colorful, and very welcoming. It's brand new, which is always nice, and the location is absolutely wonderful in the middle of everything! The staff are very helpful and do their best to accommodate all requests. Reception is open 24/7. There's a lovely café in the reception area with freshly baked pastries and fresh crafted lemonades and coffee. The rooms are spacious and modern, some with huge balconies overlooking the church, others with stained glass windows on the courtyard or the street. The detail, cleanliness, and bright colors make the room very comfortable from the soft carpet and bedding, the towels, the robe, the modern sofa bed. I also loved the fact there's a sustainable refillable water pitcher for every room and a dispenser of fresh filtered hot and cold water on each floor to fill as you wish.

CanadaNo issues or concerns arose during our stay.
The hotel just opened so everything was new, well organized and staff were friendly and made the stay a wonderful experience. This was our first time in Tbilisi and the location of the hotel was perfect for walking to all areas of Old Tbilisi and along the river. Would definitely stay at the Ibis Styles Old Tbilisi again, both due to the location and the wonderful experience staying at the hotel.
