Reviews of Namaste Hostel

It was a cozy space. Washrooms were clean. There is a small balcony(seating area) on the ground floor to hangout. Some people were even working from there. Others sat there and were talking to each other. Great view from there. It’s very safe. The staff was very helpful and good. I found a bed bug but they disinfected the entire space right away. I liked that about it that they took quick action. I was actually surprised that they were so quick in taking action/disinfecting. Many others would just say they will take care of it but would do nothing. Overall it was a great stay.

Very homey feel with comfortable beds that had curtains. Small outdoor common area with a nice view and some wooden chairs. The staff were friendly and helpful and bathrooms were clean. The hostel is located up a big hill.

Nothing about the hostel, but some of the other guests made the experience a little uncomfortable. Not to reflect on the hostel though, this was just a specific moment.

Great location, with impressive city views. Clean facilities. Basil from the staff was super friendly and hard working to make the hostel a great experience for everyone. It’s also lovely to have a resident cat (who also is very friendly to all guests). We stayed as a family of four so we took our own room.

Nothing, everything was great

Such a warm welcome from Alex who couldn’t be kinder! I do feel that the host makes a hostel work, or not and Alex is the heart and soul of Namaste. The large balcony with a table has a superb view of the city and is the perfect social spot. Bathrooms are few but it worked out well every time. The hostel attracts interesting travelers from all over. I spoiled myself and took my own room which was large and super comfortable. Walking home feels safe and everything you need is nearby. Really nice part of town.

I was okay with it in light of everything else but the drains are a bit funky at times. Perhaps a price one pays in the old town.

A cosy place with a great hostel vibe. The porch has a wonderful view of the city and is the perfect place to have a morning coffee or watch the rain and fireworks. The dorm was busy but quiet and the bed was comfortable. Kitchen facilities were also decent.

It's a real hostel and a really nice one, too.
