A wonderful place to stay in this area. The guest house is set in a beautiful location, surrounded by mountains in every direction. The host was incredibly kind, the breakfasts were delicious, and the rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable. Everything was just perfect. I really recommend it!

One shared bathroom with only one toilet per floor. We knew it before but this is what made us leave. Poor mattress and no curtains, very early sunrise in summer even before one hiker can consider to start hiking.

Warm authentic hospitality, great location, they reimbursed us one night because we left before. One shared bathroom for all the floor, good cuisine for dinner.

It’s been already the second time I came back to this guesthouse. Very nice and helpful owner, good homemade breakfast, incredible views on the mountains from the rooms, nice outside sitting areas.

A great place with a view of the mountains. An opportunity to experience the everyday life of a mountain village. Very helpful and friendly hosts who also assisted with transportation. We liked that the meals were different every day, giving us the chance to get to know Georgian cuisine.

Super nice owners who make arrangements for everything their guests need. We were allowed to use the washing machine and store food and drinks in the fridge for free. They prepared breakfast earlier than usual because we went for a long hike and wanted to leave early. The owner also picked us up in nearby Mestia after the hike without charging anything for it. Very friendly personnel and also good food.

The owner is very kind making sure we have everything we need for a good stay. Even with our very late check in he welcomed us with a big smile and invitation for a tea. Area is really beautiful, rustical. In the night was already cold but we had a heater so keep us warm.

Since the nights in late September in Svanetia are pretty cold and might also be rainy, I was surprised in a good way by the fact that the guest house was big and warm. The view from our window was exceptional! Even if you do not want to hike, you still can see some beauty. The staff was nice and friendly, considered our food preferences, including the vegan diet, and prepared breakfast for us early in the morning. They are pet-friendly. Keep in mind that they have dogs, cows and horses, which might be important for reactive or anxious pets. We had no problem with them and my dog enjoyed her time in Peak Mazeri. I think this guest house might fit both people who come for hiking or climbing and people who would rather spend their time in a less adventurous way.

Everything was good

I arrived in Mazeri after a challenging hike from Mestia through the Guli pass. I was exhausted and dehydrated. Fortunately the family gave me tons of water and all the food i could eat. Amazing experience of a true village in Svanetti. Beautiful view of Ushba. What else is there not to like?

Would be nice to have chilling zone in the courtyard, as it’s big but somehow if you want to have a tea or just anything outside you have nowhere to seat.

Had a room with amazing view on mount ushba and cows feeding under the window, and there was no cow poop smell. Everything was good for its price.
