Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelThe bathroom on the second floor is pretty small, so I recommend to take a shower on the first platform. It was a little complicated to arrive the guesthouse and also the couple that slept in the other room found 2 small caterpillars on the bed. I don't know if it was there or just fell from the roof, in our room it was clear.
The dinner was such an interesting experience! The food was nice, and there were various options,, there is fireplace that was perferct to the weather that was getting cold. After we finish the meal, the owner entered the room and startad to play on "panduri" (a Georgian instrument) and singing songs, pour us some wine (I think it was verse of ChaCha) and it was a night to remember that put on our face a big smiles

AustriaSome of the beds are a little squeaky and you can hear the people in the other rooms. But it was a lovely place.
The owner was soo friendly and charismatic. She can play the panduri and sing, she also cooks extremly good. Compared to the other 2 places is the cheapest one but still the best :)

ItalyThe room was warm. The beds were comfy even though they were a bit noisy. Food was good (we appreciated the possibility of choosing only some dishes to eat). Bathrooms were clean with plenty of hot water. Good option if you want to shorten a bit the trekking..

PortugalWe had some problems in our room with the mosquitos. Like a lot of them, a LOT. But honestly it could also be because we left the window open for a couple of hours. This was a pain but still was an amazing stay. I would just recommend not leave the window open.
The place is amazing and it has an amazing view. You really literally in the middle of nowhere. Natalia and her friend were just amazing, singing and making the best food we had in the trek.

AustraliaI had a tiny little attic room, which I totally loved as the views were great, but it was attached to 8 bed dorm - this was thankfully empty but I can imagine it would be quite loud and awkward if it was full, as you have to walk through it to get to the room and the bathroom
Was great to stay the night in the quiet little village of Kaldhe. The women running this guesthouse were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was amazing - value wise, the food was the most expensive (40 lari) but the room was the cheapest (35 lari) so in the end the overall cost was the same as most other places we stayed. Added to which, the food was by far the most generous, varied and tasty along the trip.

Helpful staff, nice view and extremely relaxing place! We were glad to have booked here. The other place was full of people and music (we had been there for a beer and it was fun but we would have stay there for the night), so.. if you are looking for quite and relax this is the place to stay! We loved it. The food was really good and they made us an early breakfast to start the trekking day (we wanted to take the upper trail to ushguly)

Czech RepublicVery dark rooms. Expensive for what you get - incl. the food.
More of a hotel than a guesthouse, but not worth the value in our view. Staff is really nice but the rooms are super dark and bare. Nice garden to relax.

NetherlandsThe property indeed gets quite cold at night, although they do provide a heater for the room. It was significantly more expensive than other guesthouses, not fully justified in my opinion. Could've probably done without the spaghetti for breakfast but their grilled cheese makes up for that - very tasty :)
This is an amazing property at an excellent location. Great views and when sunny it's perfect. Dinner was good, but actually the amber wine was the best we had in Georgia! Highly recommend. Hosts are friendly and helpful.

NetherlandsHospitality and food are very good. After a long hike from Adishi we think it is better to stop here than continuing to Iprali or Lalkhori. The view is fine and it is silent during the night. The ‘mother’ of the house didn’t like to give is our khatshapuri the evening before leaving. She preferred to make it very early at 6 am, otherwise it would be not good enough! Svanetian hospitality!
