There is No A/C inside all of the rooms, if you intend to visit it in summer and you are OK with hot and humid weather it's good for you, otherwise visit it on winter.

I don’t like that I can’t live there :) The place is all made of wood which added to the natural vibe but you can sometimes hear the people walking around. The place is a bit far from the center but there is a bus station close to the hotel. It was definitely worth it.

The place had amazing vibes, peaceful and positive. The staff were super friendly and the homemade breakfast was delicious. The view is just wonderful. I had a lovely stay and I will definitely come back.

I totally understand that the place has a rustic vibe, however, the lack of AC in peak summer makes the room a hot box. Little fans are available which do help a bit. The bathroom is a bit small, we also had an attic room so I have to constantly crouch to avoid bumping my head on the roof (not a deal breaker). There is no separation between the shower and toilet so water goes everywhere after a shower (again, not a deal breaker but would be nice to have). I was very sad that there were no takeaway boxes/containers for leftover food. Considering the large portion sizes, having these available would limit food waste (we popped our leftovers into ziplock bags we had for travelling - not ideal).

We had a lovely one night stay at Rivendell. The property grounds are perfect for a family getaway. There are trees, gardens, swings and toys to keep the little ones busy. The meal portion sizes are huge for the price when compared to other cities/regions around Georgia. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They have a fantastic breakfast spread. Location is great, a few minutes away from the main town of Borjomi.

The one thing to note is that there is no AC. While Borjomi tends to be on the cooler side, our infant goes to sleep early, and it was a little toasty in our room, even with the windows open, until around 1am.

The breakfast was delightful! Fresh milk (truly, I think it had come from a cow milked that morning!) and a variety of traditional Georgian dishes. The staff was lovely, and Nino was so accommodating. When we asked for a fan, they were quick to find one for us! The grounds are so tranquil, perfect for reading and looking at all the flowers. There is a small kids corner with toys, which my toddler loved! What a thoughtful addition.

Our stay at Rivendell in the tranquil village of Kvibisi was nothing short of magical. Nestled just a stone’s throw away from Borjomi, Rivendell offers the perfect balance between accessibility and seclusion. While the famous Borjomi springs and national park are just minutes away, the setting here feels like a peaceful retreat from the bustle — an idyllic escape into nature. What truly made our stay exceptional was the serene village atmosphere. The gentle murmur of the nearby river, the fresh mountain air, and the absence of urban noise created a calming ambiance that stayed with us long after we left. We often sat on the porch, coffee in hand, simply listening to the sounds of the river and watching the landscape shift with the light. Rivendell itself is beautifully kept, charming, and cozy — a true home away from home. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to reflect comfort and rustic elegance, from the well-equipped rooms to the cozy common areas. The hosts were welcoming, attentive, and offered wonderful tips for exploring both Kvibisi and the surrounding areas. If you’re looking for a peaceful base to explore Borjomi or simply wish to unwind in nature, Rivendell is a rare find. We left feeling recharged, inspired, and already dreaming of our next visit.

Cozy place with garden in 10 minutes distance from Borjomi. Comfortable rooms, big balcony, apples,light and pleasant smell everywhere. We were on the short stop in the journey Batumi- Tbilisi and felt like on the island of tranquility. Seperate thanks for Nina-manager, who is that polite, hospitable and warm that makes return to the place to see her! Recommend the guest house, it is unique!

We stayed at Rivendell Hotel in Borjomi as a big family of 11 people (including our dog!) and rented 4 rooms for 2 nights. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a lovely girl at the reception who was incredibly kind and helpful. The hosts were also very friendly — we even shared some treats together! The courtyard is cozy and charming, the rooms are modern, spacious, and clean. Everything felt peaceful and relaxing. Perfect for families looking to enjoy nature, fresh mountain air, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

There were no AC in the room, but it wasn't an issue for us: in the mountains wasn't hot during the nights.

Wonderful place: nice and friendly staff, amazing garden (bonus: you can eat plums and apples right from the tree), comfortable beds, tasting breakfasts, very familish atmosphere. There were also very quiet inside the room despite the fact that in the next room lived several kids.
