How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified review1) the staff is friendly 2) location - the hotel is 5 minutes from Avlabari metro station (up), and 10 minutes from the old town (down) 3) A beautiful view from the window (I had a room with a terrace) 4) comfortable bed and good air conditioning 5) breakfast is quite okay, some hot dishes were cooked/fried by woman (rice, potatoes, toast). but the coffee machine has no latte, only americano and espresso
1) the most important disadvantage for me is that when I checked into the hotel, I was informed, that payment was cash only. It was a bit of a shock, as I don't carry cash at all, and I had to withdraw money from an ATM to pay for it with a fee. this type of requirement should be added into booking hotel's description, I suppose 2) very poor soundproofing. I also got terrible neighbors who were constantly loudly laughing, singing, slamming doors (even at night). and several rooms at once such. loud slamming doors were heard even at night 3) mosquitoes and some little flies in the bathroom (I never opened the balcony door). I don't know where they were coming from, but there were a lot of them all the time 4) the bathroom has a very inconvenient layout and size - I had to close and open the door just to get in. plus the washbasin was opposite the corner, so it was impossible to see myself in the mirror 5) it is worth adding a sign at the hotel, because I checked in late at night, and the taxi driver could not find the hotel for a long time, resented me, although it was my first time here at all 6) often the internet was very weak, especially towards evening

Verified reviewReally friendly staff, awesome view from the roof, spacious bathroom, comfortable bed, very good location. Thank you for these days!
Only one: translucent curtain on the window, so light affected my sleep in the morning (I had to use a sleep mask)

Verified reviewThe room was clean and the air conditioning as well. The bed was excellent, we had a very comfy sleep. The breakfast was also very good, albeit it did not have many options (and some weird choices like chicken nuggets for breakfast?). The location was good map wise, close to old tbilisi center and also close to metro station, though be warned to go from / to the center there is a steep hill you need to go down or climb up.
There was no fridge in the room, it was exhausting having to take a trip to nearby markets every time we needed to drink some water (it was the middle of the summer). The hotel's private transfer service from and to the airport was fairly pricey (60 GEL), plus when we arrived to tbilisi airport in the middle of the night, the driver was not there, we had to quickly get georgian sim cards in order to call the hotel, after all it was resolved, but we ended up at the hotel about 2 hours later in the morning (while being obviously very sleep deprived).

Verified reviewNice bathroom and tasty breakfast with a huge selection of foods.
TV wasn't working, and the receptionist tried to help me, but it was still not working. Stains on the walls and dust on floor and inventory. Noisy AC. Did not receive receipt upon payment.

Verified reviewGreat hotel located 5 minutes walk from all the action . Clean newer hotel in what at first looks like a strange location but walk 200 mts and you realise you are right in the thick of it. Cute balcony to sip a local wine ( and reception will kindly open it for you) great value for money and a large comfortable room and bed. All staff super friendly and a simple but good breakfast. Little corner grocery store 100mts away or bigger supermarket 400mts away.
OK would love a 2nd pillow each but that's just preference.

Verified reviewTidy hotel in a freshly renovated building, with a panoramic terrace on the rooftop, and a breakfast cafe on the basement floor. All facilities feel commodious and bright, but I recommend booking rooms with carved colored balconies on the 3rd-4th floor :) They are the most authentic and have a great view of the river and the old town. Besides design, the hotel provides an excellent, varied breakfast, daily room service. The team is kind-hearted and responsive 24/7. Great fit for travelers who are looking for a good price-quality ratio!
