The bed linen was very clean and changed frequently, same as the toilet. The admin was super hardworking. It's also digital nomad friendly that they had a co-working space for use. They had a very beautiful green garden!

The location is not far from the center. The neighbour hood is quiet. Lots of green. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly owner, very helpful. Value for money.

The 4 beds dorm is quiet and comfortable, it's nice to have a towel provided. The bathrooms are generally clean but sometimes you have to wait because there are only 2 showers. The kitchen is great, common areas are comfy and pretty. They agreed to keep a small backpack for a few days when I went walking. Perfect location

I had a great time at The Friends Hostel. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, perfect for meeting other travelers. My bed was comfortable, and the shared spaces were always clean and well maintained. The staff were super helpful and welcoming, giving great tips about the area. The location was also convenient — close to public transport, shops, and local attractions.

Comfortable hostel with a nice family-run atmosphere. They have a garden to relax in and meet other travellers. Found it easy to sleep at night despite it being very hot in July. Laundry can be done for only 5GEL which was useful for me.

Situated in a hilly area so might be a little tiring to get to after a long day outside.

I stayed for 2 nights. Sociable hostel with friendly owners and people. The facilities were great - comfortable beds with curtains for privacy, a kitchen for cooking, hot showers. There’s even a mini swimming pool. Close to the Bagrati Cathedral and central market. There was an impromptu guitar jam session on my first night which was really cool. Overall great vibes.

The owner Helen & Alex are so kind. The hostel is clean and well managed. I liked their lovely two daughters as well. It was good to have chat with other guests:) peaceful area. ❤️❤️

To be honest, there wasn't a thing I didn't like about my stay with The Friends Hostel.

Great location only 10 minutes away from the city center, highly comfortable bed, and a really calm neighborhood. Owners very talkative and fun to hang out with (they love music!).

It's a family home that operates as a guesthouse. I loved the atmosphere and the common areas. To my surprise, there is even a co-working space. The back terrace is also great.

We didn’t get a chance to know the owners very well, but they were very kind and generous, and I really enjoyed staying here. I felt very at home and there were lots of fun amenities and activities (board games, guitars, even a swimming pool) and I also really appreciated the bed curtains, which made gave me a sense of privacy in the dorm room.

The friends hostel has a really good vibe,feels like I am in the famous TV show “Friends”.People are from all over the world,it’s like an United Nations.The hostel has a beautiful yard,reminds me of the good times in Thailand.The owner is a Russian couple,they have two cute daughters.You can make friends easily here.We really had a good time here. I recommend people visit kutaisi can come here to stay.

Everything was great

This place is a great option for travelers who want to rest but also meet fellow travelers and organize trips to places near Kutaisi. The bathrooms, kitchen, dorms, and common areas are super clean. There is a terrace where you can enjoy your evenings talking to other travelers or use the cozy co-working space that they have and get some work done. You can also do your laundry and even get some snacks from the minibar next to the dining room so you don't have to go out, especially on rainy days. I have no doubt that I'll stay here again if I go back to Kutaisi. Also, the hostel is located just 10 minutes away from the Bagrati Cathedral and 5 minutes away from a mini market, yet, the street is super quiet at night. Thanks again and I hope to be back soon in Kutaisi!

The place was very clean and actually much better than the photos!!! The owners were super nice and welcoming. I feel very lucky that I've found this place. Highly recommended!
