It would be nice if they could put an electric heater in the main room. I was there in the last week of October. I had to put on lots of clothes to keep myself warm.

It is literally an ancient tower — austere, but clean. Hot shower is available. Wonderful hosts. You'll be fine as long as you do not expect a five-star resort.

Some breakfast (even simple things) and wifi in the rooms would make a great addition to the overal experience

The hotel is indeed a tower in the center of Shatili. Very traditional interior, with nice, small, but comfortable rooms. Staff was great and made the best to have a good stay. Also provided info about where to get some food, as we visited Shatili a bit out of season and most places were already closed. Near hotel there is a roof top bar, maybe the only place to have a coffe/beer, with 360 views.. Tip: maybe is a good idea to add on hotel's description that some meters above there is a small church that can be approached by car/motorcycle, so its better to park there and have your bags/stuff moved from there to the room and dont park bellow the settlement which is what most people would do. So, just before Shatili there is a small road going to the left and up.. use this one to approach hotel.

I struggled to find it and the staff answering the number provided on booking.com was uneager to help It rained a lot that night and water leaked into my room making my clothes wet. Rain pipes made lots of noise

Beautiful location in the fortress. Hotel itself is charming.
