Bear in mind it is a family home with one bathroom so you may have to wait your turn to use the bathroom. Children can be noisy in the evening with screaming.

Very nice hosts and good location close to the church. Some of the hosts speak a little English so communication was manageable. A comfy and homey feel to the house. Breakfast was excellent for the price.

The rooms are upstairs and you share the bathroom and rest of the space with the family. Kids playing in the yard and the family is working during the day, so it can be a little loud if you need quiet. We were able to use the washing machine for free which was great

that place is amazing and magic. people are very hospital. That guesthouse is pleasant, service is comfortable. Food, made there, is unforgettable, delicious. I really recommend that guesthouse.

We were here in winter, so it was slightly cold in the room, but with extra clothes in bed it was not a problem. There was also some confusion about the room which I think is an honest error. , We booked a triple room to have a double bed and a little extra space as we are ski touring though the room available is a twin. The room size written is far bigger then the room is, I think it may include the hallway room but I'm not sure. In any case it was not a problem for us, it was big enough and for 2 nights we were happy to sleep in single beds, but in think this is useful information for the next people booking and for the hosts to fix on booking.com.

Our hosts Tina and Valodia were wonderful. This is their family house, with 3 generations living here, so we would say hello to other family members during our stay also. The location is very nice, with many towers, narrow pathways and cows around, and the Ethnographic Museam next door. I loved most that Tina and Valodia were open and interested in having a "Google Translate" conversation with us, so we could learn so much about their lifestyle, this allowed us to connect more to Svaneti, and the lifestyle of Ushguli people, which is what travelling is about! It was so special to us, that they don't need a car and they don't leave Ushguli all winter (which is when we were there), so all the vegetables are in the cellar or preserved, and the meat, eggs and dairy served was from their animals. It also felt, that even though we were only here 2 nights, that we were treated like family guests. This is also very special. ALSO, we left a sun hat by accident, and through messaging the property and our taxi driver they were able to find it and return it to us in Mestia. It was really wonderful that they did their best to return it to us.

We did not feel particularly welcomed. The room was quite cluttered with the family’s belongings, which left us little space to place ours. The house and bathroom had an unsettling smell. The listing mentioned that the kitchen would be available for communal use but we were dissuaded from using the refrigerator, not to mention the rest of the facilities.

Upon arriving, a four year old girl greeted us to show us to our room. When we entered the room it was clear that the beds had not been cleaned from the previous guests. The sheets were all crumpled like someone had slept in them. The grandmother then came into the room and “made” the beds by smoothing out the wrinkled sheets. We felt very uncomfortable. We asked about the kitchen which is listed in the propert details and we were made to feel like a burden for even inquiring. We were shown an outdoor kitchen that was not what was pictured. There is also no designated parking for this property. Overall we felt very uncomfortable and like we had to walk on eggshells.

The property is in a good location and parts of the house were newly renovated.

The landlord's aunt is very nice. Although we didn't speak the same language, I could clearly sense her kindness and friendliness. She even helped me carry my luggage. It was really heavy. I was very grateful. The room was comfortable and cozy, and also very tidy and clean. I fell asleep listening to the sound of water flowing. In the morning, I was awakened by the gentle sunlight. It was just like being in a dream. Because I was going hiking, I left my luggage at her place. It took about 4 days and it was completely free. She also helped me carry it to the door. When I was leaving, she hugged and kissed me. I truly felt a lot of love and joy. If I come again next time, I will definitely stay here! I love this place!

Very nice guesthouse, the room and bathroom are very clean. It is run by a lovely lady, her son speaks good english and is available for all your questions. He was not around when we were there but was easy to reach on phone and whatsapp. The dinner and breakfast was really good!
