Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

UkraineAt first, when I saw the ratings on bookings.com, I thought it was too good to be true but then again, I decided to give it a try and I must say, I’m glad I listened to my inner man. I was to arrive earlier than the check-in time and I was worried of where to stay, cos cheap me didin’t want to pay extra. I contacted the property and on getting there, I got the warmest welcome from the sweet lady, Cecilia and I was put in a room to wait while they tidy my designated room. I was given different payment options, other than in local currency, which I was previously made to believe was the only acceptable option. The apartment felt so homely. It is clean and aesthetically appealing. When driving to your destination, you might be thinking, have I made a mistake? (But have no fear, cos like the red lotus flower, it blossoms out of the unexpected places).Then you start climbing the stairs, and the ambience starts changing. You start running out of breathe, for the unfit people, cos I’m a gym girlie, so it was fine by me (I mean, it’ll help with that daily step target😉). U finally make it to the last floor and press the bell. It is advisable to contact the property directly via WhatsApp or local line, and she’ll instruct the front desk to show u in. Then, u settle in, relaxed and happy with ur life choices. From the perfumery toiletteries, to arts, to the books, to the services. All I can say is, thank you Ghana, thank you Rooftop apartment; red lotus. Ps; I’m just a pleased customer.

My wife and I had an amazing time at Red Lotus Oasis, located in Accra, New - Town ( Ghana). We spent 16 nights at the apartment, and we never regretted it. The staff, especially Mrs. Rose was exceptional. The amenities listed on the site were available even more. Uncooked rice,cooking oil,seasoning, pepper,salt,sugar,ginger tea,coffee,water, and juice were available on arrival. We even had a driver come pick us up at the Kotoka International Airport Accra, Ghana. The Internet, top notch. AC excellent, Netflix and Amazon Prime plus Dstv are also available. Our room was cleaned whenever we wanted it without an extra charge. I have a lot to say but go see for yourself😁 Thank you, and God bless.

United StatesThe only thing I didn't like was walking up the stairs. However, there was one stair case I enjoyed cause of the ease of them, but after the 4th day, I began to get used to them. I also didn't like that the restaurant below the rooms played music all night long, but it could have been a dutty December thing.
I loved everything, the staff and the cleanliness of the room, the fully stocked kitchenette. The cable TV and the balcony. Everything was so clean and spacious. If you ran out of towels, they were just one text away (WhatsApp), and you had your towels or whatever you need to accommodate your stay.

Sierra LeoneI didn't like the fact that I had payment issues with the conversion of the payments from dollar to cedis. I ended up paying more in dollars going by their own conversion when prices were placed in dollars I think they should have just indicated they collect payment in cedis directly.
I loved the apartment, the cleanliness and the facilities in general. The staff were also great and polite. I was provided with a baby cot as requested for free and that was awesome.👌

AustraliaThey advertise that breakfast is available for an extra fee, and there is a breakfast menu in the room but if you try to order breakfast, you are told that they don’t serve breakfast. Would suggest they remove the menus from the rooms! They also advertise that it is possible to pay with a credit card but when we arrived we were told this isn’t possible. Again, would suggest they update their information so guests come prepared.
This is a spacious flat with washing machine and clothes rack. The neighbourhood was quiet and it was nice to sit on the balcony.
