The pork ribs were very hard and their meals cold. The breakfast portions are small even though it’s a buffet. Also they need to update their room menu to match their restaurant menu to avoid confusion with prices of menu items.

Lovely clean, culturally beautiful lodge. The pool and outdoor sitting area is lovely. Complimentary breakfast makes the higher price point more palatable.

Just once the staff were not there when we arrived for an earlier breakfast, but really we have no complaints.

We were delighted with the free airport shuttle which met us on time and was very helpful. The room was very comfortable with a good standard of air conditioning. The pool was a lovely feature and we used it twice. The cost was good value for money. The breakfast was good.

The Lodge was very comfortable, clean with all functioning amenities. The food was excellent and fresh. The airport pick up was a great bonus. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. I will recommend the Lodge to family and friends.

We made the Mahogany Lodge our base while exploring Ghana thanks to its proximity to the airport and the complimentary shuttle service. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, the delicious food served at its restaurant and the lovely staff.

Rooms are old

This place is really good in terms of location, security and cost. However, the rooms are a bit old. The breakfast is also great.

The Airport pick up was delayed. The driver couldn't contact me on time. I kept calling the hotel and I was stressed out by the time I got to the hotel.

The breakfast was great . But I thought it would be more of Buffet. The staff are friendly and helpful.

They picked me up at the airport for my early 4 a.m. arrival in Accra. The breakfast was really good, too! Everyone went over and beyond to ensure I had a good time despite my short stay. Really lovely people and great location for short trips.

The bathroom fittings were worn and stiff to use.

The location was perfect between airport and city centre and beach. Staff were helpful especially when checking out on our airport departure day. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and peaceful. Outside pool areas are beautifully designed.

Annexe (rooms and bathrooms) a little rough around the edges in places and need some TLC. Restaurant service extremely slow (but food worth the wait.)

Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Nice pool area for hotel guests only. Delicious, freshly cooked food in the Mahogany Lodge restaurant and a wonderful stay in all. Great location - quiet, close to embassies and just 10 or so mins Uber ride (traffic dependant) into central Accra, Nkrumah Memorial Park, museums, Arts Centre, Oxford St. etc. 5 min walk to Goethe Institute.

Mosquitoes in the room, even though I kept the doors and wnidows closed.. Must have been in there from when the room was cleaned. Hate mozzies!

The swimming pool was quite shallow so only good for paddling. But it was clean and at the right temperature for the climate.
