Excellent location, walk out the door onto beautiful cobbled streets full of shops bars cafés and restaurants. Easy 5 minute walk to the cable car to go up the rock. Rooms are old fashioned, bathroom and toilet are very outdated, but everything was clean and worked. Fridge in the room which was nice, excellent air conditioning unit. There is a pool with garden area and pool bar which was a bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also got parked at the hotel door (we were possibly lucky as there are only a few spaces), but reception gave us a permit so there was no fee to pay.

Location, I knew it would be dated so accepted the decor!

The pool area is nice but some umbrellas would be good. It also needs money spending on it…

Location: very central and not too noisy despite this, with excellent access to transport links all day. Room: had everything we needed - good bed, 2 desks, phone, hairdryer, wardrobe, fridge TV, WiFi etc. Spacious ensuite with regular hot water. Breakfast: Lovely hot coffee, reasonable selection of food, lovely staff.

Location: n/a Room: very 'tired' furnishings/carpet, plus we were unfortunate to have an extremely bad ?leak over a Bank Holiday weekend causing a large wet patch in the centre of our room. Probably due to the age of the carpet, this made the room extremely smelly when locked up all day. The extremely lovely and helpful staff were unable to resolve the issue during our stay or offer an alternative room, so we had to have a window open at night due to the smell and were bitten several times by mosquitoes. The AC unit was too noisy to have on when sleeping, though we tried. Breakfast: A plain yoghurt option with separte fruit would have been preferred, but appreciate this may be a cost issue.

This is a fantastic place to stay. It’s clean, quiet, comfortable, centrally located and with air conditioning in the rooms. It also has a lovely outside section and a little pool which is a delight to swim in. It’s also very good value for money and the staff are very friendly and helpful

There isn’t a restaurant for evening meals or entertainment so you’d need to go into town for that, but everything is nearby so it’s no issue. The breakfast unfortunately stops early at 9.30am and the bar closed quite early on a number of occasions

    Location

Old hotel and looking rather tired. Needs remodeling. Bath had rust stains, trim was patched poorly, shower head had no holder on the wall (engineer had to install new holder). Dirty bathroom floor mats Very noisy aircon in room. TV size of a small PC screen. Clunky large key that had to be left at reception each time go out.

    Central and clean

I did not like the fact they advertise free parking and you arrive there and there is no parking as they only have 6 spaces available. I was travelling with an 83 year old that cannot walk much and if i knew there was only 6 spaces available i would have researched for another hotel. Manager juan carlos did not deal with the situation properly and was rude. Janet was lovely professional and calm, it is not your fault but i feel this is false advertisement.

The location brilliant the staff very friendly nothing was to much trouble they were great apart from woman behind the bar she was very rude and wouldn't help at all unlike the rest of the staff The pool was great a little oasis in the middle of town very quiet will definitely come back

It could do with the carpets cleaning and repainting inside also facillities to make a tea / coffee in your room in the morning

Super cute and very helpful staff, good location, relatively cheap price (considering Gibraltar) for a good hotel room, good fridge and AC

Bit rundown, but nothing especially surprising or wrong

    Quick and simple

Very poor air conditioning in a large room. We chose to move to a room half the size which had the same size air-cooler. The hotel plan was a bit off putting and we had to climb up and down steps after using the lift. Breakfast was not included. It was poor value for money

Very, very old hotel needs major works doing. Air con not sufficient. Pool not in the same building or dining room. Breakfast very mediocre. It was only £7 though.

    Location and staff.

The ominous damp walls in the reception the room that smelled like a death had just happened. The extremely loud portable aircon. The weird swimming/bar across the road with the characters. I would avoid, the only saving grace was the lovely receptionist, and we did have a giggle about the decor .
