Some residents smoked day and night in the corridors and toilets which was unhealthy and unpleasant to me, some residents talked loudly and played music and things on mobiles late at night.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and safe, the showers were good.

No power sockets near the beds, it was a bit warm but they gave me a fan. There’s no 24h reception, so make sure someone is there to let you in – one guest was left outside.

Hostel in a strategic location – I believe it’s the only hostel in Gibraltar. Very basic, but fine if you just need a place to sleep. There aren’t many sockets in the rooms and they use UK plugs (though they kindly lent me an adapter). No kitchen available. Lovely big cat wandering around the garden (don’t worry, he’s very well-behaved and only goes into the staff area).

Don’t have much utensils. Shower room probably should separate men and women to use. Lock box prefer don’t need security deposit, because it is inconvenient to get back the money for people doing early check out.

It would have been great to have access to a kettle or a fridge to store food and make hot drinks/noodles.

I wish there was a bit more privacy like curtains on the beds. The rooms are quite small. May feel cramped for some.

The hostel was fine. Nice staff. Good location. Easy to navigate. Probably the cheapest stay you'll find in Gibraltar.

For a host it is good.

A hostal of fab value for money just minutes walk from Casemates Square. You can actually see it from the taxi rank. Clean and easy to get to. When I was checking in I got a WhatsApp call from the caretaker who guided through accessing the site. I have a knee and elbow impingement and my req for a bottom bunk was forfilled. Bed was comfortable. Price amazing.

The room didn’t have lockers, there were a few lockers in the communal area. The room needs air con as the room can be very hot and uncomfortable in the heat. The room only has one or two sockets and you have to use an extension cable for power to charge devices. Other than the minor issues I have mentioned, I do recommend staying in this hostel as this was my second visit to this hostel.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hostel is located on the edge of casemates square which makes travelling around Gibraltar easy and convenient. The price for my stay was very reasonable. I would happily stay in this hostel in the future as I had a good stay.

The premise needs some makeovers (ceiling, additional plugs, etc.). The room lock system must be changed, so it cannot unintentionally be activated by room mates which leaves you blocked outside (in the night). The price is relatively high for such a type of accomodation, but compared to the general Gibraltar price level it seems ok - other accomodations charge by far more.

The hostel is very central and many sights, shops, restaurants etc. can be walked on foot. Otherwise the inexpensive city buses (border, airport, cable car) stop nearby. No curfew means you can enjoy a late night. A breakfast can be bought from the friendly staff, who also helps out with adapters for standard European electricity plugs. Other guests (not many in February, though) were nice and talkative, if you look for a chat.

Fantastic location and really great staff — super helpful and welcoming. Just a heads-up: there’s a no alcohol policy in the hostel, which is worth knowing before you arrive.

A small locker was provided to secure valuables, but it was situated in a room near the reception, whereas my room was in a different building. I would recommend putting a set of bigger lockers into each room so that people can secure and access all their belongings quickly without having to leave their room (with hasp locks - we could bring our own padlocks). This would be a one-time expense for the hostel which us guests would really appreciate. I found a good shower which had the water pipe held in place in its socket, but other showers had the pipe resting on the taps, and looked like they may be broken. I can't confirm they were broken, but the management should investigate and repair the sockets if necessary.

A great location close to the airport, Casemates Square, and the harbour. A bed and clean bedding was provided, and the toilets and showers were close to my room. The hostel had WiFi in both buildings, and Addie (staff member) was very helpful.

It’s a great place to stay for a night or two, given that’s the only hostel available in Gibraltar it is not that bad. The bed was comfortable. The shower was also fine.

It would be nice to have little lights and plugins for each bed. There was a power bar for everyone to share which was ok and not in keeping with the price of the stay. The sinks only had one cold water tap so no warm water for washing up.

I liked this hostel as it was close to everything. The beds were comfortable. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. I was warm at night and had a pleasant stay

It’s more expensive than your typical hostel but that Gibraltar prices. Worth it though to be in the middle of things.

The only hostel inside Gibraltar, its location is ideal for exploring. Comfortable enough beds (no curtains though), nice social area, and great staff.

No kitchen to use. It's expensive for what it is but maybe that's just Gibraltar prices. Not many sockets, there was one adapter hanging down from my bunk for the whole dorm

It was okay. The hostel was clean, not many guests. I was lucky to get a room shared with ladies and everything went okay.
