Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomSatisfied with our accomodation. Nice and clean. May be a small starter pack with milk and a small loaf. We arrived quite late at night and a few provisions would have made a big difference.
Breathtaking views of the Rock from our bedroom window. Little bit further out than most of our wedding party but still pretty accessible . Host Callum very responsive.

CanadaEverything was great. The only downfall was that the handle to the door was broken. Didn't impact us in any way, however.
Interaction with Callum was awesome! He was extremely helpful from the start. The location was perfect as well.

United KingdomThe only slight niggle is the neighbours music. It wasn't super loud, more of a base beat however it didn't keep me awake and I slept ikea a baby.
Excellent facilities. Very clean, bright with lots of clever uses of space, I.e. pull out bedside tables, pull down bed, dropleaf table, mini dishwasher, fridge freezer, mini oven, etc. Lots of cutlery, plates, cups, etc. There was coffee, tea bags, sugar, salt, and oil in the apartment, which was very welcome. There's also lots of cleaning materials so you can clean as you go. I hate going away and having to buy sprays and washing up liquid! The closet had a handy light, lots of hangers, ironing board and iron, two hairdryers, a full-length mirror, and storage drawers. The bed is super comfy though quite high, so people with mobility issues may struggle a little. Location: 15 minutes walk from the airport, Casemate Square, Ocean Village, and the beach. There are lots of bus stops. You can download the QR code found on buses and bus stops. Food and convenience: there is a small shop called Risso's where we bought bottled water, milk, oj etc. A further short walk brings you to Nuno Express, Italian, where you can eat in or takeaway. The pizza was superb! We also ate at Papparazzi Restaurant in town, which was excellent, and Sunwaves Restaurant at the beach, which was lovely and very peaceful. There is so much to do on the island. My highlight was the National Park up the rock, where we saw the macaques and the fabulous St Michael's Cave. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the siege tunnels and WWII tunnells. We ended up walking back down instead of taking the cable car. I would suggest taking the cable car up and then meandering down. Unfortunately, the Moorish Castle was closed on our visit, but when you get to the castle, there is no point in walking back to the top to get the cable car back down. For reference, the cable car both ways and entry to the National Park was just under £50 each and is a full day out. Cable car as above, but only going up is £46.50. I highly recommend this studio for a stay in Gibraltar.

United KingdomSuperb. Clean, smart, fully loaded apartment that's 15 minutes walking time from the airport (very good soundproofing) and Ocean Village. The view of the highest point of the Rock is sublime, especially at night (top floor 14 apt. 1407). Thoroughly recommended.

United KingdomEverything was genuinely perfect. Nothing bad to say.
Beautiful studio with balcony view of the rock (do bare in mind that there is a scrapyard at the bottom of the rock from the balcony view but that shouldn'tput you off anyways). Getting to the place was extremely easy to find. Very ideal location as it's 5 minute walk away from the airport and about 10 minute walk from Ocean Village which has a lot of restaurants and plenty of places to eat. There is a mini supermarket less than 100 yards from your room so very ideal to pick up those extra bits you may need. The high street which is at Grand Casemate Square is within walking distance too which you will find hundreds of shops ranging from souvenir shops, cafe's, clothes stores etc.. The room was very spacious, well ventilated with an aircon and sliding balcony doors. There is a lift to reach top floor which is 14th floor. The facilities were great too from having all the essentials you need. Busses are easy to use and plenty of bus stops nearby. Callum was a wonderful host and made me extremely comfortable staying here. He also provided a guide book around gibraltar and also a portfolio of restaurants in gib, alongside with any other shops, useful numbers etc.. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay especially for value - Thank you Callum.

IrelandThe shower pressure was very low, I guess due to being on the 14th floor, but this meant showers took much longer than usual.
The apartment was very clean, the bed super comfortable and there were plenty of things available (kitchen utensils, iron, ironing board, hairdryer). Location is about 10 minute walk from the main street area, but there's a shop around the corner, and it's close to the border/airport as well! Callum was lovely and responsive at all times as well :)

United KingdomIt was lovely to be facing the rock, but the surrounding area and scrap yard at the bottom of the rock kind of spoilt it . However it was only a ten minute walk away from Ocean Village.
perfect apartment for our short stay. very clean & great communication from Callum. I asked for a hairdryer and he brought one to the door within minutes. even though I discovered we had one in the cupboard later ! Sorry Callum :-)
