The apartment is well-equipped. There are two shared toilets. The host is friendly and helpful. He picked us up at reasonable prices. He also offered us reasonable prices for boat tours.

As all rooms were booked, the kitchen was sligtly too small. But as we spent all the time outdoors, it was ok.

Every thing is nice. Our family enjoy the stay there. The owner can arrange the airport transportation and tour with nice price. There are two WC inside. I recommend to take the whale watching, it is really a nice boat for your own family (4people). The owner also help us to deal with the delay of our flight. Many thanks.

The rate was less than any of the hotels. This was the only place available for one night. Greenland lodging is much higher than typical USA.

We had communication problems when it was time to arrive and leave. The owner is better in Danish and Greenlandic. English communication is not as good. Our departure flight was cancelled in the early morning and we sent messages to the owner to state we no longer needed a ride to the airport. We wished to stay until checkout at 11am, it was raining and we needed to find lodging. The owner arrived at 9:15 and told us we needed to leave and go to the airport. He told us he needed to prepare the room for the next guests. We hoped to stay until checkout with no lodging yet, it was raining. The airline found us lodging and we left at 10am walking with our suitcases. The owner later messaged that we could have stayed in the living room until 6pm. We had already left after he arrived at 9:30am telling us we needed to leave. We had paid for a transfer fee, which was not used.He did come to take us to the airport, but we had texted him at 8am the flight was cancelled. We also paid for a taxi upon arrival even though we had paid a transfer fee. I did not feel welcome and the price for three beds in a room was close to a high end hotel in USA. We did not have breakfast, although there was a drawer in the refrigerator labeled for booking.com guests.

The host was very laid back and helpful, booked us a taxi for the following day. The room was clean and plenty of space for 3 of us. Chilled atmosphere.

Only 1 bathroom between 5 rooms. Location is a bit out of town

The owner Bent, went above and beyond with his hospitality. Such a kind and gentle soul. The flat was very well located. Close to the visitor centre and to the markets, shops and everything. There’s everything you need to make simple meals in the kitchen. Bent is always there if you need to ask any questions or need any help. I miss Ilulissat and the beautiful people there already. Would love to go back again and recommend it to anyone who is not after luxury but to experience local life and the culture. Thank you again dear Bent for making our Greenland trip very memorable and welcoming 🙏
